I thought they inferred Maze (or demons in general) just “was” - that there were no parents. I’d like more of Maze’s back-story. She’s a fascinating character, I love how she reinvents herself while holding onto her core.

no one will make you binge the season... you can ration yourself to one a week - with a random 3 week hiatus, then repeat a few shows, then watch the last two episodes :-) Personally I will enjoy watching at MY pace, not the network’s pace.
You seem to be comparing apples and oranges - and complaining that your oranges don’t taste like apples.
best of luck to you and your husband. I hope the wacky spawn stay far from you (and the rest of us)
Gods (supposedly - remember, Odin leads Shadow to this conclusion) can’t return from suicide. But, Mad Sweeny sacrificed himself, he didn’t commit suicide. He died in order to possess the spear. Mad Sweeny, in his Lugh-persona, has an affinity for spears. I’m leaning on the side of Mad Sweeney coming back, perhaps…
true. She arrived in town so she could still get there before the blood dries/is cleaned up...
hadn’t considered that... but, whose blood would she use? She doesn’t have any does she?
Isn’t Thor a god of something? :-)
“The point is, the stakes mean something to the characters.”
Mad Sweeney is one of my favorites in the show - he and Dead Wife are really fantastic together. I hope they find a way to give us more of them in season 3. Sweeney’s sacrifice could change everything - or is could be exactly what Wednesday wanted. He’s a tricky god. Zora’s death might not have been enough...
YAY! Lucifer is back!
I believe he says at one point ‘I don’t need to tempt you people, you’. I got the impression from the show that Lucifer is in charge of the punishment after someone sins, not in charge of leading them to sin so that they can be punished.
The ‘teaching Dot to shoot’ scene cracked me up!
who knew The Tick and The Orville would be stand-out shows. I had little hope for either (and Orville had a rough start), but they have become favorites. I guess optimism is good for one’s outlook :-)
me too - for a couple of episodes I wondered if this was going to be ‘Arthur and his Imaginary Friend vs Reality’ but they pirouetted nicely from that and found a good-wacky place for their shenanigans.
lot’s of people think religious divisiveness is the main reason for so much pain in the world. They think, without religious differences pushing people apart, things would be better (more likely we’d find something else to fight about...).
Why do you assume Mr. Wednesday is telling the truth about Donar? I always wonder what Wednesday is leaving out, what he’s highlighting in order to distract from the truth, and how he never corrects the mark when assumptions are made.
I like your argument, it seems well thought out.
I’d hang with Chewie. Maybe hit a casino with Lando.
someone took the restraining bolt off that droid and he’s run away.
