is she ever not a delight?
I’m all for more Melinda May. Big screen or small.
they could pull a ‘Farscape’ and cancel after season 6 finishes filming, leaving us with a gut-wrenching “to be continued” lie in the last episode. (yes, I AM still bitter about that, does it show?)
good. I’m not paying more for anything disney. But I LOVE Agents of Shield and would be sad to miss out on it.
“How much can we or should we separate the creator from the creation?”
“Loki, half-brother of Thor and Asgard’s most mischievous inhabitant.”
I was thinking that too. I mean, is the “PG” version just another name for broadcast tv version? It’s cool that they’re giving this a twist with Fred Savage, but I don’t see a reason to pay for it. (I can donate to charity without seeing the movie)
“Yes, Martha should have gotten more attention and more stick for being black in unfriendly times towards black people,”
but his limitations MAKE him interesting. How can someone with balance problems overcome them? How can his limitations drive the story? (If he was perfectly capable of balancing, then climbing a ladder is dull. With his issues - climbing a ladder becomes a moment of tension: will he make it? will he need to be…
Ryan may have some hurdles to get over, but I don’t think he should be benched because of them. No one is perfect. He needs to learn from his mistakes and overcome his physical “shortcomings” (or, learn how to work around the problem). If he didn’t have room to grow he’d make for a boring companion.
“So I was kinda shocked by how nonchalantly 13 took it when Ryan told her he zapped Krasko back in time.”
“Graham felt heartbroken for being, unintentionally, on the wrong side of history, and it was clever to show (a) how much Rosa Parks meant to his late wife, (b) how much Ryan and Graham miss her and (c) how present she was in their thoughts throughout their time in Montgomery. Powerful stuff, and Walsh’s reaction to…
You are indeed entitled to your opinion.
Diana Rigg, Helen Mirrin, and Judy Dench! Sounds amazing! thanks
60 YEARS? Wow. Go Diana! I’m even more impressed by her than I was a few minutes ago.
Does anyone know if a white rabbit appeared in The Mad Magician’? Because there was a move that freaked me out as a kid which featured Vincent Price (so, long list to choose from) which also had a shot of a white rabbit on a staircase and I cannot remember anything else about it.
“She played one of the most popular characters ever, buy okay, go with Game of Thrones instead.”
“ So there’s a version of Nightmare out there with Price as Santa... but we won’t ever see it.”
I’m kinda done with disney; their absurd levels of control and lack of a sense of humor. Ben Solo is an adult who acts like a bratty kid - that was how the character was written. He throws a temper tantrum. He is the poster child for ‘spoiled’.
