The best (worst?) part is they’re letting their bread an butter vehicles wither while the try and “revitalize” nonprofitable lines. Everything in the US portfolio is getting old. The Charger, 300, and Grand Cherokee will be going into their 7th model year in 2017 and the Ram will be goino into its 9th. They can’t ride

That was my first thought. If you fix most of the broken stuff on the Honda you might as well keep it.

Well at least the window switches came out of the MB parts bin.

It’s a dumb design but I don’t even think the biggest offender is that it bounces back but that there’s fewer detents in it then there are positions. If you’re in drive and push it all the way forward through all the detents and immediately release you’re in reverse. You have to hold it all the way forward for a bit

I guess I assumed this already existed. There’s quite a few patrol pickups and SUVS around around here. Rams, Silverados, and F150s as well as real SUVs like Tahoes and Ecpeditions.

I think it’s time we have Sergio tested for dementia and any other possibly mental illnesses. He seems completely delusional and getting worse every time he opens his mouth.

How is FCA’s board so incompetent that Sergio is still at the helm. He’s just pillaging the profitable vehicles (Jeep and Ram) while unsuccessfully trying to hoist up brands with a foot in the grave. Though they were pretty smart to latch on to Chrysler at that time. A cheap company relieved of a ton of legacy costs

Land Cruiser. I love the Land Cruiser and would buy one if I could justify it but there aren’t any options, it only comes in one trim. It’s really just a color picker.

Probably the cheapest way to get a Duramax...though grossly down rated compared to the pickups.

The best part is that all of the koolaid drinkers used the numerous delays that the X got as proof that they were fixing all the issues. Now that they’re getting out there in significant numbers they’re still having significant issues despite launching very late. Tesla knows how to make trendy, cool cars but hasn’t

False, the Equinox is running the older LFX and the CT6, along with the rest of the V6 Caddy’s, is running the newer LGX. Though it’s only a matter of time before it’s whored out through the rest of the GM lineup. Already in the Camaro and confirmed on the new Acadia. But then again engine sharing doesn’t bother me.

Were the engineers tasked with how to make a tiny displacement engine that inhales fuels and oil use even more of both?

I hate people losing their jobs but honestly dont feel bad for dealers. Its a fucked up system that pretty much only makes a profit by screwing customers over. I’m actually surprised it’s only 44% that don’t want to negotiate. I love getting new cars (who doesn’t) but fucking hate the process of buying one. I’d love a

A useless to society, entitled, former athlete? That’s rare...

Actually its completely the opposite. The part-time, low wage retail jobs are replacing industrial and manufacturing jobs while prices collapse and costs skyrocket.

The problem isn’t the unemployment rate its that the full-time jobs with benefits that pay decent are dropping like a rock and being replaced with part-time jobs paying $10-14 an hour.

Hard to pick just one but it seems all the off road package stickers are all “cool.” Can’t be cool unless your truck says TRD, Z71, FX4, or Pro4X.

And that 7.3:1 that JATCO (Nissan) pulled off was by throwing in a small gear set. Basically a 2 speed CVT if I’m remembering correctly.

This. Just keep it simple and make rebates standard across the board.

How is anyone surprised by the 10 speed? Ford already announced the 10 speed was going to be in the 2017 Raptor meaning it was basically ready for production so why wouldn’t GM start throwing it in their cars too?
