I doubt it. That ZF 9 speed is generally disliked in everything it’s in regardless of whether it’s in a RR, Honda, or FCA.

It’s not necessarily a lack of respect for the engineering involved, more that compared to the massive leap in automotive performance the Veyron had when it was released this seems more like a baby step. People are not looking at the whole picture with gas prices. As oil tanks so does most other industries and commodities. Yes, my vehicle is a little cheaper to fill up and home a little cheaper to heat but the amount lost in my 401k and home value over the last four months alone has a few more zeroes behind it.
