Oh please, a Chrysler fan is taking about transmission reliability... As long as you don’t buy one from 00-05, there are no transmission issues.

I’m trying to think how many of his misfit Jeeps can be attributed to Chrysler. Not many.
Because they aren’t thinking about what’s really going on with the economics. Yeah, cars today are cheaper than they’ve ever been especially when you factor in capabilities and reliability, but unless you’re upper-middle-class or higher, wages are more stagnant than they’ve ever been in your lifetime. Used to be by…
NO! This thing is immaculate, Tracy would leave it outside where it would rust, fade and probably be caked with engine oil all over the inside. This van deserves better.
...that’s about $38,000 in today’s money...
Psh Noob.
My guess is that by mid April the new case rate will start leveling off due to current quarantine efforts, Trump will say “look, we’re past it”, do all he can to remove all quarantine measures, and then be all “no one could have known” when the case rate starts rising again 2 weeks later
You know what’s more astonishing than an 80% dive?
I’m not going to hate on garbage collectors because I doubt we have all the details, but it does seem like they are leveraging the situation for pay increases.
Not to mention we’re talking about garbage collectors here. These people work by themselves and don’t ever get out of their garbage trucks for anything. They are probably one of the safest jobs to have during this time.
Well Honda seems to have done it first, and voluntarily. Plus they’re still paying employees. That seems very reasonable to me.
I thought the looks of the 200 were great. It was everything else on them that was the problem...
I’m clearly in the minority, here. Everyone I’ve asked thinks the old one looks better, but I can’t base my headline on others’ opinions. I have to say what’s in my heart! And I think it looks significantly better! (Though I’m beginning to think I may need to get that checked out).
The D22 had torsion bar suspension up front while the D40 has coils up front and leafs in the back. Plus, the D40 was on an entirely new platform that had a fully-boxed frame while the D22's was C-channel. Calling them architecturally similar holds about as much weight as saying it’s about as architecturally similar…
i wouldn’t say full size trucks are getting high 20's on the highway. its close, but that not that close.
I don’t think I’ve ever been a Chrysler apologist, but the high frontal overlap test was introduced in 2012, well after this platform was developed and a lot of engineering is required to do well in it. Normally, I think it’s a ridiculous test and I don’t want to waste money on the engineering it takes to do well in…
Because it’s actually a 12 year old platform.
Counterpoint: 3 row unibody crossovers ARE minivans minus the sliding door.
These large SUVs aren’t very photogenic for some reason. Higher angles do a better job of representing what they actually look like. I’ve seen a lot of X7s (mostly M Sport models) in my area and they look very stately.
Haters gonna hate. This is a supremely nice big SUV. If it’s gotta be all screens inside then they crushed it with this one. Haters. Gonna. Hate.
