I liked the 2011 Thundercats ok, but it was silly. I have no opinion about the original, but it seemed pretty silly, too. This also looks silly, and isn’t really my cup of tea. And that’s fine. I hope the kids who watch it love it and grow up to be weirdly defensive of it, as is their right.

I’m not going to say that there isn’t room to expand other female characters, but if you read the book and come away thinking that Jessica doesn’t have enough to do or is somehow marginalized, then I think you missed something.
