Exactly. Why replace something amazing (eating) with something disappointing (meal replacement)?

It’s because we’re a good Christian nation. Jesus didn’t heal the sick and feed the poor for nothing, ya know? He had a lucrative deal with the money changers in the Temple.
And what was that crack CIA squad named? MS-13.
In a row?
It might be too on the nose, but if the team had a day at the National Museum of African American History and Culture that would be pretty great.
Tough.
As a general rule, I’m against prequels since you already know how the story will end. But there’s a lot of good world building in them. I like the idea of the fall of the Jedi, the actual Clone War, and there’s some solid acting given the scripts. So it’s a classic case of good ideas, bad execution.
It’s okay. The prequels have a lot of good ideas. There just needed two things: better actors for Anakin and someone to edit George Lucas. Like Harrison Ford once said, “You can write this shit, but you can’t say it.”
My state is trying to pass some laws about holding these bureaus accountable and shocker: some people are worried about the bureaus and hurting their bottom line. Saying shit like it might cost us more. I don’t pay for them to track me, I never had a choice.
Ashley has apologized for unmasking Comey because his tweets are so bad. It’s almost worth it.
Whoa buddy! If we actually recognized slavery’s impact on the US and talked about it, then people might have to stop and think! Slippery slope to admitting the world isn’t equal right now. Can’t have that at all.
Damn right!
Per #3, I hate these bros so much. So tough buddy! Until some emergency happens and you get frostbite.
I feel like if Jesus cared, he’d have the power to do that.
As a Nebraskan, there’s a lot of push back against this because most people don’t care about the original event. The University tried to play nice, but three state senators are on a witch hunt. It’s just another smoke and mirrors trick: distract people with this nonsense while passing destructive tax bills and cutting…
Not really. Restaurants are tiered like any business. So a waiter at a chain restaurant ($10 a plate) would make less than a waiter at a fancy upscale place ($25+ a plate). Which... already happens if people are tipping appropriately. So the cost of tipping would just be transferred to food and beverage.
I’m giving you a star because my mom is librarian and fulling supports that kind of logic. She weeds like a monster. “Does anyone need a copy of Excel 95? No, then why are there 5 copies?” kinda stuff.
No, it’s Matt. I’m not gonna link to his site, but it’s tied with the actor.
Related: There’s Matt Walsh the right-wing blogger and Matt Walsh the comedic actor on Veep and a lot of bit parts, always great. And whenever I see anything about the hateful bigotry the blogger says, I feel compelled to click the link to confirm it was the One True Matt Walsh.
Dude, it’s just a community building tool. A way to share with the people near you. And not everyone has a way to use digital copies and not all libraries are super accessible.
