I regret to inform you that your list of Tesla models to avoid is woefully incomplete.

It still looks better than any Subaru I can think of. I actually like the Envista, a lot, just not the engine. Its a hatchback, not a SUV. People need to get over it. Put in a 4-cyl, slightly more potent but nothing crazy, some visual tweaks and retro graphic touches inside and out, and make a GNX trim package. Sales.

The issue with forums is that almost every car can look problematic when you just go off of what you’re seeing on a forum. Every model has some issues, it’s often very difficult to gauge how widespread the problems are just going off what you read on forums.

Forget CR. Go to the forums for a specific model you are interested in. Go to a specialist shop for the brand you are thinking of and talk to the mechanic there. Take the car to them for an inspection.

Honestly this is is a borderline case in my eyes, but it tips ND due to the smoldering assholery of the seller’s text. I know the Borla doesn’t add “significant” power, the fake carbon fiber crap isn’t tasteful, and sticking a piece of wood on the headliner isn’t a fix.

Agreed. I want to like it, but too many red flags, including “beautifully milled piece of ash” to fix the headliner. I don’t want to find out what else he decided to “fix” with wood. Or interact with this guy at all. ND.

I’m 42, I’ve owned 5 cars with manuals. The joke isnt funny and tells us everything we need to know about the kind of person the owner is. I’m guessing his Harley is the fastest thing in town too.

I say ND because of the owner. “Millenial anti-theft device”? And instead of actually replacing the headliner - with the kit HE ALREADY HAS - he just sticks a piece of wood - sorry, “milled ash” - up there.
