Using "AI slop" in your headline here is agenda-setting garbage. Perhaps also known as "human slop". 

Gets even more bizarre when you remember that Pokemon Go is made by Niantic, which cut its teeth on Ingress, in which players submitted portals by taking pictures of various landmarks. Those portals became pokestops when Go came out. When Niantic was developing Ingress, it was an internal startup of Google.
