Forgiveness definitely isn't something anyone has to do, but I take issue with the idea that forgiveness is primarily for the good of the perpetrator. The mode with the higher data (200mbps) rate does next to nothing for image quality - it just uses an I-frame codec, which easier for editing programs to handle natively. The 4k at 100mbps on the other hand, does LOADS for image quality.
