I’ve flown plenty of times with my kids since they were newborns. They always have been great. If a kid is acting like a little shit head it's probably because their parents don't give a shit and planned poorly.

There’s also a corporate “ladies would be so much prettier if they just smiled” vibe about this, that I really, really hate.

The strangest thing on this one was the lack of any benefit to Sheetz, normally we see corporations being terrible in order to make or save some money. Here, they were firing a good employee and gaining nothing.

I was thinking something more like the new manager felt the need to follow the “rule” to the letter for fear of being fired (and then being without their own dental/health care). Same root cause though: it was Capitalism all along.

There’s a high limit to what people in the US will accept in our capitalist hellscape but it’s curious that Sheetz thought, even for a moment, that “The public is going to be on our side with punishing a domestic violence survivor in a country without free access to dental. Our policy is reasonable!”

That is the correct answer.

Just have the emergency guys stop showing up. Eventually the sink hole will get filled with cars so they can just pave over it and fix it faster.

Alice Cooper rocks

To be fair that could also describe Alice Cooper, who seems like a perfectly nice guy off stage. Too many people assumed the same about Warner, and were catastrophically wrong.

As a teen of the 90s, we staunchly defended this creep’s version of artistry. Just because someone had a violent, Satanic, stage persona did not make him a bad guy. We all felt so cool and grownup that we got this esoteric concept.
