People love to bellyache about how far SNL has fallen. I’ve been hearing/reading that refrain for the past 20 years. SNL has always- ALWAYS been hit and miss; even in the early days; it’s just incredibly hard to turn in an entire show of consistently funny sketches.

It was a really funny sketch, but not because of the writing. It was funny because Gosling and Mikey Day’s makeup was terrifying, and the other cast-members clearly hadn’t seen it until that moment and were all struggling to maintain their composure.

To me, it’s frustrating...

I wish you the best of luck finding a new position not working for that douchebag.

yup, woke up to get ready for work this morning to a email from elon saying I was let go, fun

IMO it does not make sense to buy an EV if you are planning to rely on a charging network for anything outside of the occasional longer trip. If it is your commuter car, you’d better have a 40Amp+ charger in your garage or dedicated parking space. Anything else and you’re better off with a PHEV, HEV, or just regular

(For those who’ve played it, yes, I am OF COURSE talking about the quest at the hotel, which is all I’ll say so as not to spoil for

There were plenty of vapid one-hit wonders and temporary sensations that time forgot because they were ultimately forgettable.

Well, denying him a commercial driver’s license was obviously the right choice. He would have been insane on the roads.

This is a very slippery slope.

The Gulper absolutely does have a direct analogue in the games: it’s a creature in the Far Harbor DLC for Fallout 4.

There is a place in Brazil where two big rivers encounters and do not mix.”

I blame Christianity. If you believe in god, believing in this nonsense isn’t that much of a stretch.

They ultimately mix, but it is very cool where the Amazon and the Rio Negro come together. The giant otters and pink dolphins are a bonus.

Except, they do mix of course. Because water mixes with water.

And that idea seems particularly common among people who want to insist science doesn’t understand why “oceans don’t mix.” be loudly and publicly stupid.
