Milwaukee M18 Impact
Biking in a Michigan winter sounds fun.
We had a 2020 Altima as a rental while my wife’s car was being repaired (after being totaled - there was no actual major damage, just the nature of the amount of damage and the age of the car), and besides the fact it reeked of smoke (clearly ignoring the “no smoking” stickers everywhere), the infotainment was one of…
Yes.
Intentional stupidity is a hell of a drug.
“Pre-conditioning” would be the correct term there. I do that in winter in my Volt (or basically whenever it is less than 50 outside) for a few minutes while still plugged into the house (so not all of the power being wasted to heat the cabin is coming from the car).
Just like how automobiles themselves never caught on over horse and buggy, right?
As an added benefit, you won’t return to a car that has been absolutely baking in the sun and/or the majority of your walk in the rain/snow would be covered.
You’re not wrong.
Ooof, that rear end is not good.
Can we just have the boat get up a lot of speed and jump the continent?
That would be so much cooler.
He also had a bad habit of not cinching his seatbelts up because they were “uncomfortable”. But belts alone probably would not have saved him given the angle and speed of impact.
The Olds are absolutely terrified of roundabouts around here, too.
They will shout profanity at you and castigate you for attempting to follow their instructions.
You’re lucky it was just a loose connection rather than all of The Smoke being let out of the wiring.
I guess I lucked out with our two - a 20 footer and a 17 footer - when we moved 9 years back. I found them pretty easy to drive, obviously having to account for significantly more length, height and weight than vehicles I’ve driven in the past.
Interestingly, I tend to find the opposite is true - in that one will spawn somewhere ahead of me, going barely more than a crawl.
The amount of Optimas/K5s out there that drive like absolute dickheads is absolutely stunning.
Yeah, I think it’s not done so well after the “I’m really happy” redesign - it’s quite far behind other competitors in terms of sales in the segment.
The recent refresh helped to make it look considerably more appealing, but the interior still is a massive step down in quality/design from the previous generation.
It’s worth mentioning that the Escape outsells the Bronco Sport by about ~35k vehicles per year.
