Tape the Fiat badge over top when you show the car to her, then take it off after you’ve purchased it.

We love it - it’s a 2014, bought it new, has about 100k miles now. Just got 55 MPG on a trip back from up north last weekend (spends most of its life driving almost all city, averaging mid-30s with my wife’s lead foot).

Yes - we own one!

Don’t forget the Sonic!

The CVT on the ‘19+ Malibu 1.5Ts really is a huge improvement for city driving, as well.

We’ve averaged mid-low 30s in nearly all-city driving with 1.5T Malibus without issue.

The few Malibu 1.5T loaners we’ve had have all averaged in the mid-low 30s driving nearly all city.

We had one this spring (a loaner), and we averaged 27.4, with a best tank of 29.8 MPG, over the course of 584 miles. AWD too (though that only is activated via a button - it does add the extra weight, though).

Just ignore it?

And I half-expected to see a pair of truck nuts hanging from the back bumper!

Impressive time (if accurate) - meaningless, in the sense of comparison, if it isn’t production-spec.

“First Edition”

I don’t like the word - but I absolutely will use it to describe any kind of cake/bread that it applies to without issue.

Honestly, we rarely found it made any kind of noticeable difference in most applications what kind of beer we used - the only time I’ll buy cheaper beer is when I am cooking with it.

For real, though, loud pipes don’t save lives.

“Rediscover this day”

Why is he still a thing?
