not in Akiba or Shinjuku... tourists over 6’ are a fairly common sight there. (as in maybe more than 1 in 1000)

oh, Maidreamin’ still got a bunch of girls in various costumes around several areas of Akiba trying to attract customers. they’re pretty much the only big chain left... there are a lot still around, but the popular ones are either: actually have (somewhat) decent food and vibe that keeps people going back like

Then how does literally every movie studio male stripper service do this? (It is generally not illegal if the “target” party know it is not an officer)

you must’ve been pleasantly surprised like me when you saw Yakushimaru in the role of the veteran singer in Amachan... (i couldn’t find a better video on youtube)

but does this Phil have his own Phil’sosophy?

just ignore Canada, the entire Canadian population isn’t even as much as Greater Tokyo metropolitan area (aka Shutoken or National Capital Region)... that means Kanto region + Yamanashi, with a total pop of 37+ mil in an area roughly the size of Connecticut or Puerto Rico, while Canada only has a little over 35 mil,

FUZE?

ditto.

not to mention the theatre’s logo has 2 circles, an outer one and a concentric inner one made of minus space from the placement of the 2 wedges. it’s geometrically much more appealing than the cheap bento™ look of the Tokyo logo.

i’ve already mentioned this to Brian, this was the first thing i thought of when i saw the announcement a couple days ago... so i quickly made this PS.

i love this one too, but it’s the candidate application logo. and it feels a little Okinawan, not that that’s a bad thing, but it really doesn’t scream Tokyo. the current ugly one does, although it also screams Nakatomi Plaza, or some other cheap logo for a commercial skyscraper built in the 80’s.

some of my favs~ (youtube deleted a lot of her stuff)

this is why we jokingly call it Stupified Chinese, the word Dry/Dried 乾, they dumbed it down to be the same word as the dumbed down to Do 幹(which is also the slang in mandarin for to Fuck). it’s like if you are to translate the romanized Japanese word hana without any context, would it be flower or nose(apparently

learn something new everyday. lol...

i never got why i-y gets switched... r-l, h-f, b-v, s-z i get because of how kana gets romanized...

well, in Japan white people are a minority... =P

was the bridge built with Norwegian Wood? ;)

one word. Forge.
