you might enjoy a great slice of life film called Ocean Waves (also known as I Can Hear the Sea). it's an older Ghibli film from 1993 and it's a great look at semi-rural Japan and relationships of young people. this is in my top 5 Ghibli films.

she is from Dr. Slump, a series Toriyama did before Dragonball, but apparently existing in the same universe. she's not from Dragonball. Dr. Slump is by far better than Dragonball, simply for the fact that he stopped it before it became ridiculous. no, ridiculous is the wrong word, because Dr. Slump is hilariously

the hell are you talking about? we're talking about eating Chinese food with chopsticks.

but it's not her showing her art. her name isn't Luke Plunkett. and i have said something akin to that to a MtG artist's face, and to 2 more who are a husband and wife team, although that's more towards their own game. i thought one of the first artist's pieces had some fugly bits, and i called him out on it. he

mostly it's pretty informal, but i think antimoebius answered the gist of it. for example, i've been taught from a young age it's impolite to bend your hand backwards when serving beverages (or even to use your left hand) because that's what you do when serving dead ancestors. mostly forgotten customs unlike the

yes, i would say i think her work looks like crap to her face. worthless is a different matter, but you wouldn't know the difference.

no wonder he's so angry... ;P
