This is true, but isn't it kind of a bitch to get out of there. If they had a better metro, but you have to walk to Foggy Bottom.

Georgetown bros become your typical DC bros 1-2 years out of school. There comes a point in every Hoya life where you realize that you do actually have to leave Georgetown, painful as it may be.

pretty sure a handful of them puked in my AdMo driveway last Friday night...nice one, Bros :-{

Now that it's about to get nice outside, my co-worker and I can start up our Salmon Shorts tally for the spring and summer. The best night was the sighting of two dudes who were both wearing salmon shorts and one dude had on an LSU polo shirt and the other guy had on an UVA polo shirt and both had on boat shoes. AND

Tammy at Polished in Georgetown. She is the best ever. She's super no nonsense. Super fast. No chit chat. In and out. She fucking rules.

I once went on a Tinder date (I hate that I typed that. Sorry) to Bourbon in Adams Morgan. I actually don't even dislike that bar, but I don't often hang out in Adams Morgan. This should have been a red flag and I should have cancelled before I even went. Two of the awful things he said during the date (he said a lot

Yes! I would also accept the Pit of Despair.

I disagree completely. There is nothing identifiable about the child in this picture and I wouldn't put it here if there was, trust me. But showing this photo adds a very powerful visual element to this story that hammers home the severity of the situation that words just would not be able to do. I say that as someone

I keep going back to what it must be like for that teenager to have to try to find the strength to speak up and fight back in that situation. He was literally fist fighting his stepfather when cops showed up.

Give that teenage so many medals!

I had to call Dad to confirm, but yes! Neat!!!

Sutton Shirt Corporation? In Byrdstown, Tenn. ?!?!

who worked in a shirt factory for most of her life in rural Tennessee

Tracy, I don't know how many shirt factories existed in rural TN when our grandmothers were working, but I grew up on a quilt made from remainders of a rural TN shirt factory where my grandmother worked to feed my father.

Mine went on to clean a
