Dude has openly discussed his mental illness on almost every album he’s put out. Directly, clearly. So, I 100% believe he’s having a bipolar episode and I hope he is getting the help he needs.

Jez hasn’t had any of those for years, if ever. They don’t even round-robin most pieces. Each writer is expected to proof and copy edit his/her own material.

I like Kanye. I’ve got mental problems too...I have achieved a fraction of a fraction of what he’s accomplished. Whatever he is dealing with, he is doing some pretty cool stuff with his life... and afaik he’s never done any serious evil.

A lot of these comments are atrocious. Some seem gleeful? I know Kanye isn’t perfect but damn.

I hope his issues are quickly diagnosed and that he gets the help he needs. No one talks much about mental illness in the Black community. I was told growing up that faith was enough, but a chemical imbalance is a physical issue, not a spiritual one. The Kardashians have their faults, but they seem genuinely

They’ve had a shitty few months. I hope he’s getting the help he needs and I hope Kim and the kids are getting a lot of support from their family.

Wow. I’m surprised with some of the comments here. No. Not surprised. Disappointed. If we made fun of someone with downs sydrome or Parkinson’s there would be hell to pay.

Makes me sad to see so many people finding ways to make jokes and snark when someone decides to finally get the help they need. Those same people ask why it took so long.

It’s semantics. My mom says she’s diabetic. My sister say’s she’s celiac. I personally have no problem saying I’m bipolar. As long as there is a conversation about it I’m not going to get picky about terminology.

His mother passed away on 11/10/2007 and he’s been a bit off since. And I’m not saying it as a bad thing- he loved his mother very much. He tends to have a hard time during this time of year. Grieving is not a game.

This is also around the anniversary of his Mom’s death.

I have bipolar illness as well. I know what you mean, but please let’s stop using the term he/she is bipolar. They have bipolar illness. You wouldn’t call someone with cancer, “he’s cancer.” He/she has cancer. I know this seems captious, but with all the stigma placed on mental illness, it’s possible to help others

Wow. Compassion much?

When a brother says he’ll vote for Trump you know he’s in trouble.

A black man insisting on his support for an unapologetic white supremacist does raise questions about mental faculty...

I was kind of concerned about him. I hope he takes the time he needs and tends to his health.

I know people are going to make lots of snarky comments but I’ve read in a few threads that he’s bipolar. As somebody who is bipolar, I hope he gets the help he needs. He seems to really need it right now.

Removing any and all context, this is a story about a guy who was hospitalized because he said he would vote for Trump. And that is hilarious.

It’s good that he’s getting help before things got more out of control and someone got hurt. Hope he gets through whatever this is and starts feeling better soon.

Mostly just want to hug Kim right now tbh
