I don’t know where the Wall Street Journal is drawing its conclusion that Millennials and Gen Z are willing to pay as much or more for non-alcoholic drinks. There seems to be no data supporting that.

I’m 30 and personally don’t drink, and although just about everyone I know does drink, most of them don’t drink very

Thank you for the correction! I wish there was a way to turn lock delay off. >_<

Oh yeah, you can spin the blocks almost infinitely. Although that screws with my rhythm, it HAS kept me alive in some late game situations, haha.

I love this game and I love that it’s free. My only issue with it is a preference thing. My favorite flavor of Tetris is the Game Boy version. That means no soft drops, the block is locked in place as soon as it hits something. I use that rhythm to keep myself alive at higher levels. I have an uphill battle learning

Seeya! If that’s your reaction to getting called out for using harmful slurs, then you’re trash and don’t deserve your platform. He won’t be missed.

Remember when, on two separate occasions, Satoru Iwata and other Nintendo executives took massive pay cuts instead of laying anyone off, since ultimately they were responsible for the financial losses?

I’m 30, and when I was a kid, EVERYONE played video games. The girls were forced out of it later on because the industry started focusing all of its advertising on boys in the mid-90s. There’s a good Retronauts episode about video game advertising from the 70s up through the 90s, and you can see the change start in

I think it’s less that women were actually less interested in game development and more a mixture of factors that included a perception that women weren’t interested, which contributed to the issue. Other things that contribute are our culture not presenting game development as an option to women, and the tech

I’d still like to see statistics, because “a very high number” is subjective and may not ACTUALLY be a high number. But if Miyamoto is specifically saying they’re doing better than American companies, that’s both good but also not saying much.

Gotta love all my fellow white idiots here saying cultural appropriation is bullshit! I wouldn’t expect anything less from us than aggressive ignorance! <3

If you want to talk about great animated Star Wars, look no further than the Genndy Tartakovsky Clone Wars microseries. When it’s taken as a whole, it pieces together into a roughly 2 hour film set between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, and it was WAY better than any of the prequels. Because it’s

I MIGHT be able to believe that the band itself didn’t know about the MRA connotations, but there’s no way Interscope Records doesn’t have some PR person vet things like this to make sure they won’t have issues marketing. Either that person is bad at their job, or this was all intentional.

If you’re not having fun with a game, making the necessary changes so that you do have fun should never be shameful! After all, that’s why we play games, right?

That’s a great idea! I’d like to see more of that in turn based tactical games.

I think that is just like a quick restore function, though, right? So if you fail a mission, you can’t restore from that point. But you can turn the console off in the middle of a battle and pick up where you left off.

I think the only real change that needs to be made is the ability to save mid-mission, so you don’t lose all of your progress if you fail. I’m guessing the developer wanted to avoid people save scumming, but if the missions are that long, you have to help people out some way. Maybe with a checkpoint?

Otherwise, I think

This makes a lot of sense and I’m excited to play it!

As a self-professed Kingdom Hearts Hater, there’s something so undeniably appealing about the series. I don’t find myself enjoying the gameplay, but I’ve still played every single game, even the HD rereleases. Even now, even though I know that the games just don’t click with me, every time I see a video of Kingdom

I can’t believe that Edward Snowden is still being used as any sort of an indicator on how we should be handling our affairs.

I think a Metroid Prime Trilogy collection (well, technically another collection) would be a great way to keep people excited about the series before the next game comes out. It’d also be a solid release to bring out in between the big stuff this year, like Animal Crossing and Pokemon.
