Sounds like all those ice baths and the steady diet of Soylent shakes are making this guy extra sharp.

Funny that all these guys fail to see that they’re being suckered by force fed trash pushed on them from their own algorithm.

I’m not sure if it’s an alarm bell considering the userbase reaction to this news has been “good.”

My Asus gaming laptop was vastly better at everything when plugged in, regardless of power settings.

This is information isn’t entirely true. For one, during the pandemic a lot of manufactures realized people were over charging their laptops and making warranty claims for swollen batteries. To curb costs, a lot of them issued Battery BIOS updates to stop laptops from constantly charging the battery. Now most laptops

Some laptops do perform much better while plugged in due to power requirements or bad programming logic. However many laptops have settings to cap charging at 80%, which can be used in these cases. I know even the Acer swift 16 I have is 65w on charger, does actually run the cpu faster plugged in vs on battery even

I’m so glad to see someone else thinks a lot of Dread was gimmicky.

looking forward to getting this game in 4-5 months when it is 40% off. I just don’t like Ubisoft enough to pay full price for any of their games. I also don’t have much of a connection with PoP except for Sands of Time (could never get past the 2nd level) and the 3 JAVA mobile games (I loved those)

I feel like I go insane when I keep saying Metroid Dread is a disappointment when Metroidvanias have moved so far ahead with Ori, HK and Bloodstained.

I had thought “maps that automatically mark places of interest when you reach them” were already the standard. Some games have manual map markers, but even that seems better than a bag of screenshots.

They already tried in September with Saw Patrol (Saw X & Paw Patrol). It didn’t work but they’ll keep trying, I’m sure.

It’s going to be fun watching studios attempt to make this happen, especially when one movie is clearly superior to the other.

Pretty much this. It also doesn’t account for marketing. Maybe indie games get cannibalized harder than AAA games. We don’t know.

1 game selling well doesn’t prove anything. It needs to be consistent and it needs to not be widely available elsewhere. Let’s be honest, the Steam crowd isn’t going to jump ship to GamePass for 1 game.

I think this has to do a lot with the fact that people want to mod Starfield and that simply isn’t possible with the gamepass version.

Chu hasn’t been in the Top Ten in awhile. But your point still stands.

A person who shares a cultural background with the culture a story is about might have a better grasp on it. Shocking insight, I know.

After seeing his Call of Duty skin that was just pulled and some of the imagery on his Twitch stream, his shit opinion and doubling down are not shocking at all. The whole co-opting of Spartan lore and Spartan imagery is a dead giveaway that this asshole is at a minimum, right-wing militia adjacent. He probably has a Μ
