I’m in the same boat. I’m an Ops Supervisor at an art museum, and most of my work is done in a veritable concrete bunker with zero cell reception. I used Hangouts SMS all the time to communicate with my employees and my wife from wherever I was in the building. Then they killed the SMS functionality, so I’m limping

That’s not a good joke. It’s way too obvious and I’m surprised it got laughs among the crew. It’s not shocking or surprising, it’s exactly what you’d expect from that character in that moment, but in a bad way.

Haha, I love how Generation X is like the perpetual middle child, so angry that no one is talking about them and left to just complain complain complain even though they don’t have the room to.

Just shut the fuck up.

Then you have 70 random bookmarks with basically no organization. To comprehensively bookmark everything would take forever.

Cousins is basically Melo 2.0: yeah he’s an insanely good basketball player, but he’s a toxic addition to any team, and overall a net negative if you’re looking beyond the stats sheet. His only shot at winning a championship is to be on a team that has already won multiple championships with essentially the same

I kinda figured if you haven’t already gotten into a Suda51 game, you’re probably never going to. Especially as game design modernizes around his stuff and the janky issues only stand out more.

Yeah, exactly! It’s not great that Ubisoft had to go through that learning process, but they at least seem to have legitimately learned from it and earnestly want to do better and be more inclusive now. That’s just such a rarity from big game publishers.

This whole story makes me happy in a way. Even though Ubisoft messed up, the critiques from fans were passionate and reasoned, without any of the developers getting harassed or doxed. And then Ubisoft actually understood why people were upset and acknowledged a need to do better, instead of dismissing the players’

Isn’t this game No More Heroes 3? I could be wrong, but I thought there was a second game on the Wii.

Yeah, I think at this point people know already if they like Suda 51's style and what he puts the focus on in his games.

Definitely check out the Reverse Boss Order speedrun of Super Metroid, it’s incredible. The ways that speedrunners have broken that game apart is incredible.

I can not think of a more boring team for Harper to go to than the Phillies. Does anyone outside of Philadelphia even care about the team?

Can Portis answer why Durant would want to intentionally injure him? A mediocre player for an awful team? If Durant was going to intentionally injure someone-- something he’s never even come close to doing before-- wouldn’t it at least be a key player for team that can challenge the Warriors for a championship? What

I had never even heard of this game, but this is really cool! Thank you for writing a piece about it!

This isn’t surprising. The fries, when combined with the Chick-fil-A sauce, is the only decent item on their menu. It’s literally the only thing I’ve purchased there in over 10 years.

If yours are unsalted, it’s because your Chick-fil-A isn’t salting them. Mine are always salted.

I haven’t played it yet, but I’ve heard very good things. It’s hilarious to me that Sega had to bring in people making fan games in the ROM hacking community to actually put out a well-respected Sonic game, though.

I love Sonic speedruns because they really exemplify what is special and unique about Sonic the Hedgehog, which I don’t think even Sega really understands at this point. Sonic is not a jumping/combat/exploration platformer like Mario. Sonic is about rhythm and motion. It’s about finding the most efficient routes
