That Audi S1 is such a cool car. There’s a clip of it hitting the big gap at Nitro rallycross that makes my heart swoon.

As long as I can remember, my dad drove a Suburban to fit his wife and 4 boys. Except, that time in the 80's when he bought a wood-paneled, diesel station wagon. My only memory of this car was going 30 MPH on the highway towing our camper up a mountain pass while every other car in sight flew past us.

Tell me more about this Stratos? Lister Bell maybe? Is there a build page?

Roof scoop ruins it, looks like it ran into a low bridge.

Exactly, I shopped Tacoma, Ridgeline and Colorado’s for hauling my dirtbike. I liked the features and the ride on the Ridgeline, definitely would have bought one if it got 25+ MPG. Ended up with a TRD Tacoma that gets 22-23 at same price and depreciation can’t be beat.

The Flatrock Regional training facility in Denver area can be rented out. My brother & I rented it out last time I visited.

I drove all over Tuscany/Florence for a week and it wasn’t nearly as bad as everyone made it seem. Things went just fine until we drove into Rome. Anywhere a car could be wedged, there was a car. In the middle of medians, any space than 6" longer than car between trees & poles, the pie shaped wedge between parking

I listened to an interesting podcast on the subject of hate groups recently. One of the experts suggestions was just to ignore these people.

I’d like to hear the opinion of someone that has actually worked for Uber. Uber promises a lot, but seems the reality isn’t that great. Sure, people are going to “voluntarily” work for Uber. Any job is better than nothing. But most of us would do whatever they could to protect their jobs if they knew a replacement

Pretty much every company of any size eventually ends up with an employee or several who sues or threaten to sue for something the employee feels is egregiously wrong. The only reason this is news is because Tesla. I’m not saying he’s definitely wrong, but there’s a due process for these things and it’s not news until

Naming one of the trim levels “Essence” surely isn’t helping. Buick TourX Essence? I’m gonna pass.

Whoever buys this should ask him to deliver it in the bed of his giant work truck behind it. That wouldn’t be my first choice for a work truck either, lifted trucks are not fun to load/unload.

Riddle me this. Can the Mahindra be plated in the US? Being made in India, I imagine it was built to be inexpensive and allow the owner to travel over rough roads in remote areas. I don’t imagine rock crawling for recreation is big in India.

Kris Meeke just go let go from the WRC Citroen team for crashing too often. Max would be wise to take this a little more seriously.

I work in healthcare and NY has by far the most stifling regulations of any state, (we have to comply with all 50 states). I can only imagine what their motor vehicle regulations are like.

This will be a great addition to doll up all the “overlander” trucks packed with rotopax, recovery boards, hi-jacks, racks, rooftop tents and hundreds of pounds of other crap. I get it, it’s fun to get away on the weekend or a long road trip, but FFS, take that stuff off for your weekday commutes. It’s like Cosplay

This was a thing in the US at one point, but the footage I’ve seen is probably from 70s-80s. The fact it’s still going on in the world is news to me.

Yeah, neat car, but I really want to know how to get on that road/track shown from above in the first few seconds, looks really fun.

Not sure I would classify power stage as a “gimmick”. I think of them as an incentive to keep the teams pushing hard. It also gives teams that encounter problems an opportunity to score points towards championship, which should keep things more interesting in the overall race.

This is the answer. I have a $600 BMW 318ti project that will someday get as sideways as possible in the dirt, it’s sole purpose is to be thrashed. I can tow it home with DD Tacoma if/when it breaks and still make it to work the next day.
