The off-road community is a huge economic factor in Moab. No one wants to shut everything down. This is just limiting some trails in a huge area of trails.

They’re already doing this in Moab. A lot of what used to be free, dispersed use areas where people would camp is now the Utah Raptor State park and costs $15/day to camp/off-road. They can’t charge for BLM open land unless it changes format e.g. designated park, campground, etc.

This is true. They will mostly likely put in large boulders that block the entrances to closed trails. They really just need to be big enough to stop a UTV since it’s mainly the renters/novices that would be going around that. Someone that puts in the effort to build a vehicle that can scale 4' high boulders isn’t

Exactly. They closed a fraction of the area, lots of the closures are just little spurs off the main trail. The guy crying “Moab is lost.” is being way overdramatic.

Yeah, don’ think these things catch on fire when there’s a normal mechanical failure.

Did you read the article? It’s smaller than a Tacoma and a little bigger than a Maverick, which is about as small as a truck could be and still be useful.

The cost per person would be more than $1,500 because not everyone that can fit in the bar/restaurant would have a window seat. Miami had a lot of hype the first year, but this year they had to discount tickets. I’ll be amazed if both Las Vegas and Miami are still on the calendar in 4-5 years.

Speed limit is 80mph in much of Utah and it’s honestly a little stressful, especially considering 1/2 of Utah drives lifted bro-dozers. The differences in speed between someone doing 80+ on the left lane and people doing 55 in the slow lane creates some bad traffic patterns and close calls.

What? The Ram is “more spacious” than the Ford or GMC?? We put 5 guys in an F150 all the time, easy. If by 4 full-grown American adults, you mean 250+ lb people, I guess you got me. I can’t imagine why you would want anymore interior room in any of these trucks.

Right. I don’t understand why they’re charging $80,000  for a vehicle assembled in China. Everyone knows the factory is located there because the pay their employees significantly less than most countries. Not to say it’s any worse because it’s from China, but I’d be looking at other cars at this price range.

Bummer. We’re planning a family trip to see an F1 race next season. Austria & Spa were at the top of our lists.

I went to Tokyo Auto Salon in 2019. It was insane, but exhausting.

The Miami Grand Prix sold out before tickets were even open to the public.” I wonder how many of these went to re-sellers? 20% “convenience” fees are bad enough . The popular events seem to sell out almost immediately due to resellers with armies of bots. Joe Public will end up paying at least double to some reseller

ZIATA? Z is always the answer?

So maybe just don’t order from Amazon at all?

I was really hoping the Toyota GT3 would be mid-engine.

I like this move. Maybe this will filter down to Mustangs becoming a reasonable option as a track car. I know Mustangs can be made to track, but seems only the upper trims or decently modded stuff does well vs. a Miata or BRZ that can go from showroom straight to the track.

Ford is going to sell a sh*tload of these. Seems like they’re purposely making these just a little extra obnoxious. They know their market. I don’t know what those used “lifted trucks” dealers are gonna do now that they can’t charge $15k more for adding $4k in a lift, crappy wheels & tires.

He could be a contender. Ogier will only be part-time this season. Cars are all new, so it’s an open playing field. I suspect M-Sport picked him up mostly to help develop the new car and mentor their young squad though. I’m just glad the cars still sound amazing.

No C8 Corvettes? Or that doesn’t count as Worst yet?
