I kind of like the exterior, but those seats look like they put the lotion on the skin so Buffalo Bill wouldn’t give them the hose again.

Close, but it’s We Were Promised Jetpacks, great band.

generic, fake bead locks...

I’m just afraid my drool would ruin that beautiful red interior, so good.

Yeah, this is a terrible analogy. I’d say they are opposite ends of the car racing spectrum. If you want to talk about origins or something, maybe there’s something there, but should have kept writing cause I’m far from convinced.

Beat me too it. Everything I’ve read says the STR performs better than the original and can be built for under $50k, plus the option of Toyota reliability, but less the Italian sound.

Admittedly, my experience with putting on events is limited to kid’s birthday parties, but why does an event with 40 cars, 500 people and some local rappers need a $125,000 budget? Is he building all the cars for the show??

By that same logic, you don’t need a car at all, just walk/bus everywhere.

This is good to see, I bought a 1997 ti hatchback with a blown motor for $600 last fall, can confirm cheap. We’ll see about the rest after I get the bigger engine swapped in and various upgrades completed.

Their sponsorship got them their own “event” a joke of a hillclimb contest where everyone rode a custom dirtbike with a Harley V twin motor up the middle of a halfpipe. It was contrived and kind of pathetic.

My favorite Christmas present is Dickie’s coveralls. I can slide them on over my clothes to go work in the cold garage. Easy to get off when I come back to warm up and don’t need to worry about staining the couch.

WRC starts next week!!!!!

This solidifies my dislike for quads.

RedBull TV has pretty good daily highlights show and they will do full coverage of some special stages. It’s definitely worth checking out.

They make it, at least for countries other than US, look for Yaris GRMN, still FWD only though.

This looks kind of bloated. It’s hard to tell from the pictures, are these similar in size to a Corvette or smaller, like maybe a Z4?

Some of this must relate to dealership-manufacturer agreements. Audi always took care of my CPO Audi A4, including an once after the warranty expired. Dealer billed Audi for repair, since the oil leak was caused by a part known to have issues.

You would be surprised how soft & fluffy desert dunes can get, it’s nothing like beach sand. I’ve stepped off my dirtbike and sunk in shin deep. There’s just no way to get traction in it, a paddle tire and lots of momentum is the only way you’re getting up in some ares.

I really miss my Audi and I like the interior on this, but “simple” or “sleek simplicity” is not how I would describe this interior or the steering wheel.

What about the sun visors? Most cars could really use help in this area.
