Nice! Was my first car. Paid $150 for it in the 00's and it was very solid with no major rust and no mechanical issues. It would probably go for like $7k today seeing how prices are. Still look around for one every now and then but rust, prices and hp keep me from grabbing another. Don’t miss having to scrape the

Wait what?! Who let Mitsubishi in the Ford building?! You know it’s bad when Ford takes a cue from Mitsubishi.

Ha! My friend had one and it was nothing special just like that era base Corolla. Anyone that would take one of those over anything, let alone a 68-72 Nova, is an odd bird. I had a Squareback at the time and have never owned a Chevy so I have no homer takes here. I just know it was badge engineering at it’s most

I remember being very incensed when I found out they had sullied the good Nova name on that trifling travesty.

Ford and Chevy also have drag only cars. They are also so race specific they don’t come with VINs.

One of those things is not like the other. Wow. That’s a broad search parameter. Looks at Pantera and NSX but really wants a P1800. The Volvo is a nice car and all but that’s like choosing celibacy vs sex.

SUPLEX FOR PEACE!

Most people don’t buy cruisers for speed, hence the category name. Most people don’t buy superbikes to cruise. Many bikes for many types. Harley is it’s own category of bike. Most competitor’s cruisers are styled after Harleys yet no Harleys are styled after them. Comparing Harleys to adventure bikes and ridiculous

Apples and Oranges. Two, basically one, adventure bikes and two 4+ cylinder water cooled boat anchors. If you want to make comparisons than use air cooled v-twin cruisers to make the comparison.

I’m hereby coining the term Jeep Necrophilia.

Yeah. He’s the guy that’s going to get around to it someday til there’s nothing left to get around to. He needs to cut that thing loose to someone that will do something with it. He’s also talked about it’s issues like he’s never worked on a vehicle before and that’s why it sits and rots.

Isn’t all the Harley hate on this site amazing? At least there is some push back against it lately. I have a few bikes. All different brands. I also have an 82 shovelhead FXR and it is a keeper. It can bareley keep up with newer Sportsters even tho it’s a 1340. It handles great tho like all FXRs do, only weighs 50

But but but the Ducati Panigale 1299 made 205 hp and 106 lb ft and only weighed 420 lbs and it came out FIVE years ago! This Harley SUCKS!

There’s also a guy from England I’ve heard about. Think his last name is Crashslow or something like that?

SPOILER ALERT!

Here at Jalopnik! the only thing BETTER than a motorcycle CRASH is a motorcycle SAVE, but just BARELY! We LOVE motorcycle CRASHES! TWO WHEELS BAD!

For sure on buying what you like. I had an 89 FZR1000 at the same time as the 89 GSXR1100. I didn’t need two classic litrebikes and had to make a decision. The FZR is the basis of the modern litrebike (1st twin spar frame, downdraft fueling, exhaust valving, etc), and bests it’s contemporary competitor, the GSXR, in

The VFRs are fine. It’s a sporty commuter/tourer. I’m neither for or against Honda. The only Honda that’s stayed on my radar is the SOHC CB750 and I like stock/survivor condition. I know they have made some interesting bikes.

Guess you gotta stay on top of psi AND curbs now.

Haha. There is a certain siren’s call type appeal to a Ducati. I think Ducati maintenance difficulty is more urban legend than reality tho. In regards to the 2 valve desomodromic models at least. It cost me $13 to do the valves on my M900 and they hadn’t been adjusted in 16 years. The XSR900s are nice. If got a newer
