I understand that this makes me part of the problem, but seeing Kim go evil even just for half a season was fun. I’d like to imagine there’s an alternate universe where she’s doing the whole Saul thing but better.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this episode was the first time we heard Kim and Jimmy say “I love you” to each other.  I always thought that they cared for each other, but weren’t really in love - even their wedding was handled like a transaction.

Oh, she most definitely took the money.

The “new lover” is a hooker, I believe.

A nothingburgerphone?

Sigh...

Pro-choice does mean choice. Juno made the choice that she felt worked best for you. I think we also all have to be rational, too. The plot revolves around her and the adoptive parents. Her choosing not to have an abortion would sort of negate the movie.

“the use of violence to confirm manhood and how cliched ideas about manhood can lead to someone’s own destruction.”

“If there’s one thing Daenerys Targaryen is going to do, it’s mother.”

I think you’re reading subtext in Solo that wasn’t really there.

It’s really a shame that a movie which clearly thinks abortion should be legal but tells the story about a young woman who still decides not to get one is upheld as anti-choice/anti-abortion. I don’t think Cody has anything to apologize for.

Aneurysms scare the crap out of me because they seem to happen to anyone regardless of health and there is not much you can do about it. I also fear the thing Emilia did where you have one, they save your live but you are not “you” anymore. My mother-in-law suffered one 25 years ago and while she survived, its not a

Having a baby is part of the choice. This is a nothingburger.

See Pierce Brosnan.

Besides the book, what is there ‘to buy?’ And by implication, why be combative about somebody trying to aid their public image? We all want to look good, appear successful, look like we’ve learned lessons. As for not being well liked by other people in her field, that’s their opinion. They have no idea if you agree

Your claims aren’t backed up by known facts

I remember that she said ‘something’ controversial years ago but I cant remember what it was... I clicked on the twitter link hoping it would be a link to what she originally said. This would have been a much more enjoyable read if Hughes bothered to remind us what Constance Wu said. I’m not about to scroll through

Why do so many of you dumb assholes just feel the need to take the shittiest and snarkiest possible take on every single thing that happens

Writing is a very therapeutic thing for anyone who experienced something traumatic. Even if her book becomes a NY Times Bestseller, the pay is still pretty crap, especially compared to writing for film or TV. She’s not going to live off of book money, she’s still acting, never stopped. The idea that having a voice in

It’s a book about her own experiences. I don’t know why it’s gross that she included a part of her experience that was obviously very traumatic. I think unfortunately we just live in a society where the only way people seem to be able to normalize mental health, addiction, queerdom, etc. is by selling it. That’s not
