Seriously... because they’re both white? One is a mid engine track weapon, and the other is a FWD fleet rental convertible. Also, this is a 2010 Concept, so it predates the Cascada by about 5 years. They don’t share a single design characteristic.

They aren’t trade-ins on Kias. They’re trade-ins on the exotics. Once you get a couple of these, people trade in/trade up, so it’s relatively easy to keep roughly the same number around. i.e. if this guy got a hold of 2 Ferraris and 2 Bentleys, someone with an S63 might come trade it for any of those.

Frankly, a LSD, skids plates and a bit more ground clearance is all most people need to get a bit more outdoorsy. The target market for the “overlanding look” is people who want to drive on some dirt roads and camp off the grid...... No one buying a timberline is taking it to MOAB and running rock crawling trails.
