And this is why I don't want a Corvette. They are really becoming great cars, but you can't shake this type of heritage.

My dealer, Phil Long Ford Chapel Hills, is insisting my 2012 Fiesta SE needs a Fuel Injection Service. I turned them down at 15,000 miles and when I brought it in for an oil change at 20,000 miles they pressured me again. I said no again. I searched the maintenance schedule and didn't see any requirement for it. At…
What does Lincoln need to be a success again? I suggested a car above, but what do you think? Give us your ideas below.
Over on Opposite Lock I did yet another M3 story, but his one was about the CSL. Great piece of machinery.
Drawing from the 80's playbook in the bowels of GM apparently.
I thought they tore down the Packard plant already. When I was at the University of Michigan in AF ROTC, we used to play Navy and Army ROTC paintball matches in the factory. It was awesome.
I live in Colorado now and am from Grand Rapids originally. I'm trying to figure out the bottom line here. What's the big news? So you have a grocery store in Detroit? Ok. See, I guess if Meijer's opened one, it'd have lines out the door too.
To me there is no car, at least one with taste, that evokes what a sports car should look like. Rolling art is a way to describe a Ferrari 308 GTB, not a GTS. But it'd be pretty embarrassing to have a car that can get smoked by any number of cars including a Camry, Fiesta, Passat, etc... Imagine a re-engineered 308…
I don't agree at all. The Corvette has a legacy of being a cheaply made car. While some old Vettes end up pretty darn valuable, it's not the same as an older 911. Singer isn't making awesome cars out of 1976 Corvettes for instance.
My former 2002 was light and nimble. I love my E46, but it is heavy. I'd love to see a light car. Lots of aluminum and carbon fiber. BMWs seem bloated, including the 1-Series.
This explains his weird rants about taxes and fairness.
Was the "Mobile Valeter" one Chris Harris? He has an axe to grind with Maranello you know, instead he chose this car. We'll never know.
I had a 76 2002. It had a Nardi steering wheel. I had no idea what that meant at the time. My former wife made me sell it, and in reality I didn't have the means to restore it. But, the new owner, who I sold it to for about $350, sold the Nardi for $1200 on eBay. Ouch. It was an awesome car. Very quick. Handled great.…
Somewhere buried in here I posted a T-Bird badge from a 57. I'd just shot the car on Saturday. I had never noticed the frost green background color until then. It's a sharp emblem.
It's funny, I was just thinking how well the Dino script/emblem has stood the test of time. It's just plain attractive.
I have a Technivorm Moccamaster with a thermal carafe and it works very well indeed. We do pre-heat the thermal carafe so it's not cold when the brewed coffee hits it. We do buy locally roasted coffee. Our roaster uses a cyclone process which removes the husk off the beans, reducing the chance of bitterness even…
