Ugh, touch screens are THE WORST.
Unless the touch screen itself is a deal-breaker for you, there are still plenty of desirable, modern cars that don’t have many electronic nannies. I drive a 2017 truck that has nothing except traction control.
What is wrong with the Detroit water system? I have never heard anything bad about it as far as quality goes.
Let this be a lesson for towns that rely on a single employer or industry. The risks are too high since the fortunes of the town relies on the financial health of one company or revenue stream. Every healthy city needs a diverse employer base.
Ok I’m going to assume this is the case of the author not writing the headline because there’s some serious lede burying going on here.
At some point, the EV market has to sustain itself without external subsidies in the form of massive rebates and credits. Whether that point should be next year, or a few years further out....looking forward to the Hindsight 20/20 article in a decade or so.
I’m sure there will be a TV career for him if he wants one, but I kind of hope he doesn’t call the actual races. I really think he would be better in a spot where he can spend more time talking about the sport and not simply just reacting to what’s happening, more like a radio show or doing opinion stuff during some…
I can’t wait to see him in the booth with his old Hendrick teammate. Jeff Gordon is an excellent NASCAR host. I imagine Jr. will be equally good.

The graph is misleading. Social Security and Medicare have a separate tax that goes only toward those items. Discretionary spending is what is really important when it comes to government budgets. Here is the graph for that.
That’s probably way cheaper than the average cost to inflict a casualty on the enemy. I mean gear and training for one infantryman + getting them to the combat area and at least one round of ammo is way more than $4k. Good value here.
While it’s always important to know how much weapons systems cost, it’s frustrating when everyone talks about the cost when it’s used as if we are just now paying for it. Example: We just spent 16 million to drop a bomb!! No, actually that bomb was already paid for years ago and was part of the budget. If anything the…

You don’t need to buy anything. You don’t have to have an interesting or flashy car to be an enthusiast. You don’t even have to have a car.
Everyone else has poured $30,000 in parts and tools to keep theirs running.
