Hey, is Kotaku going to cover Anita Sarkeesian’s new crowdfunding project? She’s asking for $200k after she cancelled her tropes series.

This is great, because I would love to ask the guy some questions, namely regarding the venue itself and their willingness to allow people who perpetuate online harassment to host panels and lectures on online harassment and their allowing the press to push their agendas on the venue.

The problem is that Sarkie isn’t really relevant in any context, so when would be a good time to bring it up? Luckily for us, Kotaku has about as much relevance to gaming as she does, so what better than an irrelevant article to mention it?

So is Kotaku going to cover Anita Sarkeesian’s new crowdfunding campaign? After she stuck a fork in her Tropes series, she decided she needs $200k for a new series. She’s also using a new service this time, as Kickstarter apparently makes you refund the money now if you don’t deliver.

Hey, is Kotaku going to cover Anita Sarkeesian ditching her old series and starting a new one for $200k? She’s not using Kickstarter this time, though, since apparently they’ve added rules about paying the money back if you don’t deliver.

Sounds like she already got fucked.

And don’t forget the money her daddy made as a lawyer, like when he defended OJ.

Eh, at this point I’m willing to believe anyone that denies a part in the modern day rape panic.

You know, in one regard, you are right. Their personal business isn’t our issue, though he is certainly right to talk about what she did to him *if that is what he wants to do.* Let’s not forget here the thing you guys love to gloss over, she fuckin’ abused the guy. Any hundred number of times, you people have lauded

Wow, imagine that. He targeted the person that abused and sexually assaulted him, and a swath of people read what she did and called her a shitbag. I can’t believe that happened. And btw, writing off screencapped proof as fake with no support for said claim is not a defense.

Then don’t get pissy when someone like Eron Gjoni posts private conversations that show abuse and infidelity involving members of the press and indie dev scene.

You’re using the terms “industry employees and creators” very loosely here.

According to her twitter, she didn’t want to be involved, yet you involved her anyway.

Serious question, why do the people who claim harassment constantly go out on social media and do the same incendiary shit that they claim is harassment? Because that’s what happened to this Rapp chick.

I just don’t understand the people that constantly defend Kotaku and the like. I get that being a fanboy often comes with being a gamer, but people like you just confuse me.

You know, the fact that SJW’s pull this shit is entirely why people who are neutral or even pro GG think that trying to get Rapp fired over this is bullshit. This all escalated from Rapp taking a shit on people who were mad at the translation and DLC for Fire Emblem. Then people started trying to get her fired, and

That isn’t even relevant, because people will make that accusation regardless. I took issue with the fact that the full Fire Emblem package costs about $100, then suddenly I must hate women because of the Alison Rapp thing. It’s total bullshit.

She became “outspoken” about women after the fact. This all started because she started talking shit about the people who were mad about the censorship of Fire Emblem, and then people found out that she wrote a pro pedophelia paper in college. After that it was a big shit show.

KiA has more subscribers than the feminism subreddit. Just FYI.

You’re a very angry individual. I hope you sort that out.
