Well this certainly doesn’t look like it’s straying from an E.T. homage to an insane overstuffed mess.

It looks like they’re in High School now and several years have passed since Season 3
It’s almost like these are the exact personality traits that would lead one to think they should have a camera pointed at them all day so the entire world can watch them.
I think the highlight of this stream was when the flat earth guy said he was bad at geography and not educated on it, like NO SHIT.
Too bad he didn’t get into his Fight Club character by letting someone punch him in the face a dozen times.
I’ve been at a few studios where we’ve pitched games to publishers by making a a very small ‘demo’ to put into the pitch deck which is what this looks like. It’s basically a proof of concept that shows the ‘style’ that you’re going for which presents better than a powerpoint slide. 100% chance that’s a programmer…
I spoke to the devil today and he assured me this handshake deal we have arranged would have no maliciousness behind it and he, the devil, intends to act in good faith.
But is it a Christmas movie???
This cutscene is the biggest example I can recall. Just a insane amount of purple gloss all over the environment.
For the life of me I cannot understand why they did that glossy texture overlay across all the environment, and often times make it this insanely bright purple color to boot. It looks so shitty it’s unbelievable.
You never need to have knowledge of the doc it’s based on but it definitely helps increase you’re enjoyment of it. I would say 90% of the time I have very little to zero knowledge of the doc it’s based on. But occasionally I have watched them after seeing the Documentary Now episode and when I saw the episode again I…
Very unpopular opinion: They should have let Ben Affleck come back as Daredevil for that scene.
I feel the same. His last special “Oh, Come On” was the final straw. It was just mad rambling stories that had no jokes or punch lines. You can be an asshole, but you still have to be entertaining and interesting
Eye Doesn’t Lie is probably my favorite next to Location Is Everything
I honestly think choosing that episode to be it’s premiere costs it a sizeable percentage of it’s audience. Luckily someone at Netflix was smart enough to make it default to Season 3 when you first click on it
They could’ve made it widescreen (something I expect a modder will do for free when it comes to PC).
Love this show. I recommend it loudly and often, and always with the caveat “skip the first episode”
I never watched any of the Comedy Central episodes because I didn’t have cable and no one ever really gave it a rining endorsement to seek them out the last decade. Now that they’re all on Hulu, anyone have any favorites from that run I should check out?
I have finally played enough to feel comfortable saying this games story and dialogue make even the most milquetoast JRPG’s read like Shakespeare.
