Doctor: “The inhabitants didnt want to be a part of their solar system any more, so they ejected themselves into space. The planet is freezing solid. The people complain about the cold, say they were misled and dont know how theyll survive. But if you ask them if they regret leaving the solar system, they’ll deny it.

We’ll ALWAYS have PFT. And Scott and Bob and David. Most of the cast and writers, really. Pretty good track record, to be fair. Altho I guess “only one of us stormed the Capitol” isn’t exactly a brag.

It’s been explained to me that the future of the BBC is hazy at best, and propping up Doctor Who “independently” would keep it from failing in the worst case scenario, but all this still reads like “Privatizing Doctor Who will keep costs down and mean better episodes for fans”

That sounds more comfortable than the politics in FL. I’m calling my realtor!

Oh how I wish I could give this beautifully cared for relic at NP, but the sad truth is that no sane person would want to part with $5k to buy this. On the flip side, the pics make me want to move to that quaint Iowa neighborhood. Does it get cold there in the winter?

Same! “NO ONE HELP HER!”

My favorite part of that episode is when Kira gets really upset and essentially says “I did not sign up for whacky Star Trek adventures!”

In lawyer terms, this is some fucking shade.

This is my problem with the “Ah, shaddap, it’s fine” “argument”: the idea that we should just shut up and take this medicine seems to come from a position of having completely and totally given up.

And that’s still assuming the AI will be capable of doing equal work. They’ll happily replace with AI that does a job that’s only ten percent as good as a human doing it - as long as the AI subscription only five percent the cost of paying a human.

EXACTLY.  No jobs means a poverty nightmare.  It’ll be a great depression.

I can’t wait for the next article, “Coffers makers don’t brew coffee! they just pour hot water over coffee grounds!”

I have to give Robert Evans credit for at least recognizing how shitty of an actor he must have been if he needed to actually sleep with Ava Gardner in order to be able act like she was the desirable woman she was in The Sun Also Rises.

I laughed out loud. That’s good stuff.

I understand it’s the name of it, it’s just silly the insistent need to use the whole name to scare people. It’s the same people that always called Obama, Barack HUSSEIN Obama.

Right? Like...he’s an airhead who’s managed to market himself as some sort of tortured artist. Really, he’s just kind of dumb. He isn’t all that different from the self important, but incompetent, rich kid he played on Succession.

I flippin’ half stood up and cheered when I sawr/heard him! That was my happiest moment in the trailer.

Hoping that Amazon does a better job with this than Paramount did with the other people in powersuits show, Halo.

You just unlocked a memory for me, mine did this too!

Is it just me or are this season's episodes more focused on characters played by Fred Armisen? Bill Hader, who, in my opinion, is way funnier and more of an "acting chameleon", played mostly supporting parts, that even though were the funniest thing of those episodes, were still a very small part of them.
