I actually love this. Because usually old-new comparisons are left to right, I was getting ready to say this is worse in every way, but then I realized that new is on the left, and... it’s better in every way. Well done, Porsche!

Fun fact: The State of Florida license plates have always lead to a sketchy gambling site!
Apparently the Dodge Hornet will get the same hybrid powertrain as the Alfa Toenail. I’m curious on what the pricing for it will be compared to the Toenail.

Part of what makes this interesting is that car design really hasn’t changed as much as we all thought it would while watching Minority Report or Demolition Man. There are easy “timeless” choices that litter the comments right now that I don’t think hit the mark of “unexpected.” There was one very good Volvo choice in…
While I agree, the minor tweaks that the Challenger has received somehow make the pre-facelift ones look drastically older when you sit them next to each other; especially the taillights. It’s amazing how big of an impact such small changes can have.
I generally don’t agree with any nominations of this kind of thing - people say, for instance, that the NSX is timeless, but it looks like a car of its time. It’s a classic and has aged well, but that doesn’t mean it’s timeless.
I am a former employee of Saab Cars, USA. It angers me to no end that auto journalists now go on and on about how much they miss Saab in the marketplace. This is the same group of folks who made fun of the car, or tore it apart for those things that made it unique. There was a reason for all those things you made fun…
While this isn’t a particularly inventive suggestion, I can’t help the fact that my knees still get weak some 30 years later when I see a first-gen Acura NSX in person. My friends all had posters of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Porches on my wall, but for me it was this all day long. To me, it’s simple, unfussy design…
The more I think about it, the more I realize that Sally’s the only one who talks about it as a murder. I think it’s her guilt and remorse talking. Which makes sense - anyone with a conscience would feel horrible about the entire incident, justified killing or not.
I like to think that the main reason Sally doesn’t want John to watch “The Mask Collector” is because they gave Barry the “Tomorrow And Tomorrow” soliloquy that she nailed on that Shakespeare showcase.
This is your daily reminder that the only power people have over their employers is the one they exercise collectively, as a union. That power is the reason we have safety regulations to make our workplaces safe to work in. It’s why we have 40-hour work weeks and (used to be) unconditional overtime pay. It’s why…
Keep up the fight WGA!
It all depends on how it fails. Cables tend to flail around and unravel and become like whips. I don’t know if I’ve seen a chain eject a link before. But honestly, I’m a big fan in making sure the chain or cable is about 50 times stronger than it “needs” to be.
