I felt like my tone was obvious enough that I was joking about being upset or resentful about not inheriting things from my father. I would trade everything he ever gave me for more time with him (especially now that he has dementia) and often feel guilty that I took as much from him as I did.

My Dad spent all his money on cool stuff only to outlive his high-income career and end up with little-to-nothing to leave his kids after his death.

I live in Dallas, and I think there is a lot of the usual us vs. them mentality that allows a lot of people who don’t share Mr. Jean’s skin color to side with the police and downplay the tragedy that is getting shot in your own home by an officer for no real reason.

Turns out my local Alfa dealership is staying closed after having all of its inventory repossessed, and I’m not driving to Fort Worth.

It’s a minivan in the UK.

I did very much like my Integra back in the early 1990s.

I love halo cars as much as the next guy, but I’d sure rather Jaguar put money into making the XF and XE a lot better because the “not quite as nice as a Honda” strategy isn’t really working, in my opinion.

The last time I voted for a presidential candidate who won my state was 1992.

Unfortunately for the rest of us, Oklahoma got rid of their 3.2 beer limit late last year.

Maybe we should raise taxes on the wealthy.

That’s a choice automakers make. The standards themselves don’t travel across state lines (except to other states that have also adopted California’s standard) and every automaker would be perfectly able to manufacture and sell a car that didn’t comply with California rules in the states that haven’t adopted those

Texas claims that the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality rules take precedence over any EPA rules within the state of Texas relating to ground-level ozone standards and the Trump Administration agrees with them. And the TCEQ standards are lower than that of the EPA rather than higher.

And we’re calling it the Lancer Evo Cross.

Smart thinking to make the tow hook very visible on a Fiat, though maybe not needed on this particular model.

They built the Sky which looked far closer to the Vauxhall VX Lightning concept from the year before than the Saturn Curve.

I grew up in Texas, and we managed to get a decent education without any restrictions on our hair length. Maybe the Tatum folks need to go ask how school districts decades ago were able to still educate male students with long hair.
