This just seems appropriate tonight.
Awesome! Maybe it'll mean that I won't have to explain that our 1934 Borgward Hansa 1100 is actually German at car shows anymore.
A good way to start the day is when you come to Jalopnik and find a rally post right at the top.
The exhaust of my former 944 broke right at the headers. Had to remove the whole thing because it was dangling dangerously. Scheduled an appointment with my nearby mechanic to have it welded a few day later. I remember taking the car there at around 6AM, before going to work, I made a lot of friends in my neighborhood…
For those curious, the Nürburgring is not on this list because while it is technically a toll road, it's not like people are commuting on it one some days and then racing on it on others. It's technically a public road, but it's not like these others, given that it was always meant to be for track driving.

Police later found among the wreckage the "calling card" of a Colorado organized crime syndicate known for often violent coercion to maintain market share in the state. Local witnesses — most of whom are customers of the group — refused to answer questions, simply stating that accidents like this are what happens…
LEWIS TO RED HAT LINUX CONFIRMED
YUP! Just bought a one owner 1993 MR with the 2.2 for $6000. Yeah, price is on the higher end for one but it looks damn near new. It was someone's baby before I got it. Love the looks and the way it drives. Even now you get looks in one with those classic lines.
