That's not true anymore, hence Mazda using a 2.0 in the 3 to go against 1.6 turbo rivals.
Exactly as i was saying on that article. Also, i'm pretty sure the 2.0 will also be available on non-us markets, just not as the base engine, but as an option. Or at least i hope so.
This is a rolls, remember? There is no engine noise.
Agree. And i do wonder what happens after this:
So does the Fiesta ST and the Focus ST, the closest relatives to this engine. What were you expecting?
Thanks for #3, but i have to say i have to disagree a bit on the Honda Accord front. In 1990 there already was a 150HP strong 2.2 on offer, even before VTEC came to the play, and though that doesn't sound like much in view of what's on offer today, try finding stronger direct competitors back then. Few and far between.
It was in 1989 that i really got into cars. This VW Futura was all the news back then, with active sound deadening, and self-parking capabilities among others, and, incidentally, the dash of the Golf III.
Sad but true. There are two versions: rustbucket and modded, and i'm not sure of either. But that don't change the fact the original design still hits hard today.
It's very hard to explain, maybe that's why it's confusing, but
I would say the Civic that came after that one is even cleaner. Or is it that i just like that more...?
A someone having submitted work, congratulations to the fine people whose films got selected. Good going all around, and seems a fine selection, based on the films i have seen already - will make sure to watch the rest in the meantime.
Raph, this is close to a manifesto, as far as i am concerned. I love you for penning it.
You do make a very valid point about these cars being non the safer for the decades past since their days. One thing of note though: as far as i understand, vintage racing is supposed to take place at 8/10th speed, for exactly that reason. No one needs to break any records anymore with these car, and of course no one…
You know, i usually love the Zagato bodies, but in this particular case i think i adore the factory original even more.
Sad, but inevitable, given how they only managed one truly successful model in the last 3-4 decades, when you look at sales numbers. Here's my take on why...
Very interesting car, that i would love to get my hands on, and it also happens to be en-vouge on the market, so it might work as an investment too. Yes, that moonroof is a problem, needs closer inspection, but if it is at least a period installation, as well as not leaking, it should still work. We should not forget,…
I love me some 911s like the next jalop, but if every person was thinking this way, it would be the only sports car on the planet earth. And we don't want that, not in a million years.
It is like a tank as far as rear visibility goes, that's for sure. But i disagree with your other statement: i'm yet to find a bad angle to this car, so much so, that i would say it's beauty is one of the main selling points.
It made me want to at least try the game, so it's probably just goofy enough.
