I don't know about much that, but i do find that the Mazda 3 sedan you pictured looked better that the 5door - and that was even more so a generation before.

Congratulations Casey, i'm sure this will be splendid - looking forward to seeing the finished article!
Oh stop freaking out, the world ain't US only. Even the current generation has an 1.8 base engine on other markets - with 127 HP. The fact this engine will get replaced by this 1.5 Skyactive, does not mean the 2.0 will be discontinued without replacement.
In light of them now offering loads of turbo I4s, that have noise and harshness standards way below an I6, i call BS.
I'm inexplicably partial to the Kappa coupé.
CEO...? Some Loko di Motezuma or similar retired, at least that's what i heard.
While we are at job applications, i happen to know the local Ferrari dealer (our daughters are classmates) , and i read everywhere on the net they might have an opening - you think i should apply?
The English signals should be because the engine is built in Englad - in a factory fully owned by BMW. I think the French would gouge their own eyes first, and only use English nomenclature on their engines after that.....
In hindsight, it was a great car, yes. At the time? The 230e ran smoother, was more powerful and was generaly a much better know quantity. They didn't really consume that much more either, the e being frugal for a gas engine of the time, while the diesels being thirstier than what we like to think about them. So no,…
you could be right, i don't dispute that. I would argue the audi tdi had the greater effect on things though. Like with mitsubishi and their forgotten gdi engines....
Fair enough. There's still my nomination then of every pre-1990 diesel versions. Yes, even a W123 was better when new in 230E form, than with any of their diesels. Or there's the BMW 324td while we're at it. For a diesel, they were great. But for a BMW E30...?
1st point of interest: BMW tuners will tell you, that with a pretty straightforward head swap you can turn a 325e to a factory-bored 327i, that's good to numbers way north of 200 sans turbo. So even though in factory form it sucks, the 325e is in fact a "secret tip" of E30 builders.
I would say the seller is right that the very best examples will collect a premium some day, maybe not even far from today. Yes i know people have low opinions of it, but there will be others who will have childhood memories, personal connections to it, and anyway, it's a well known car, seen in movies, etc. I can…
If it positively has to be a new car and from those four, i think i'm getting the Jag. For shits and giggles, mostly.
Oh yeah, that one is definitely true - there are precious little differences between versions, which Mini users like to abuse: after the warranty is out it's cheaper to source parts with Peugeot or Citroën on then, than with MINI written all over the box. And they'll fit.
Interesting fact: PSA mechanics call it the "BMW motor", Mini mechanics call it the "Peugeot motor". No one wants that pile of steaming sh*t on their name it seems....
I love the CX too, and it is in fact really long for it's width for example. Did you know that the 5-seat variant was the Break, and the 8-seat variant was the Familiale? This had a third row facing forward, in the trunk. And that because of the hydropneumatic suspension these could carry a good 200kgs more, than say…
I have no idea. But you no what? I think neither does Volvo. They are doing this to find out.
No idea. I think Volvo don't know either, they are doing this to test the waters, i would think.
That is a china special. All other automakers do it as well - middle class models with LWB are thought after there.
