Haahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...... $4500 for that??? No effing way. I mean it's not the worst car to come out of the eastern block, not by a considerable margin, but that's still ridiculous.

I just hit submit.

Luckily these work much better than that. Even in my mothers' 2009 Hyundai i30 (Elantra in the states IIRC), by the time the clutch pedal hits the metal, the engine is whirling, and starts right up - so in effect i lose 0 seconds compared to just idling there in neutral. And if you really are mistaking a stop-light to

It's interesting you should mention EVO in an article asking about what's an old-school car, because they happen to have the mother of all road tests just around this issue. And featuring a video anyone can watch too.

I wish that was so. But it isn't youtube isn't ready to accept paying customers from around the globe. So i simply cannot view this.

Proven wrong, fair enough.

I am a bit in awe they spent so much money on this car and still only got a Rota wheel. I don't trust that, even though no one's goind to rally race this one. If you go and mod a car this thorough, why not get a proper wheel?

I completely disagree.

I once chatted to a Mercedes suspension engineer at a press event of some forgettable car - maybe the current B-Class. After a few drinks it turned out he had an older SL, probably the "Bobby Ewing", or an R129? I cannot recal, but its north of 20 years for sure. He also spoke about how he likes to drive the car, it's

Did you catch the part of the Op where it says British GT racing driver Paul Bailey is behind the P1 wheel?

Thanks, GT86.

Oh if I had a dollar for each time an X1/9 owner told me to get my MR2 off their lawn... if they only knew how much better a car the Japanese built on the same concept. So, thanks for the chuckle graverobber.

Are the seats still the most comfortable in the business?

You do have a point there, but without looking it up i think it was only the last couple of years of the production run of the Peugeot 407, not more.

That's already in metric shitton category where i live. It would easily pay off all my dues, including the mortgage on the flat i live in with three kids, and would barely have felt like i started to spend.

Over-endowed...?

it's brown on the inside. and what nice shade too.

my kids love it when i do that. Granted, i do that with approx 75 HP, so there's not that much speed, but the maniac part, they just love that.

Could have been. They were on the wrong track with that 07 generation for sure. They have rectified the problem though, i like the 508, the 208 and the new 308 too, both as lookers, and in the case of the smaller two, as drivers. I just wonder if they'll do the big coupe thing again at all - the current 508 is still
