800 for that? If this was around my place, i would be on my way to check it out as of right now.

I could easily picture a corvette in my life, even though i would probably look for a C6 Coupe, but this one? Wrong on so many levels, i would only be interested if the price was missing the last zero.... and even then i would probably decline. CP, if there ever was one.

The cynic in me would say that the main point of any start-stop system is to get a lower EU / EPA consumption rating, which is very important in marketing and sales terms.

That would be extremely hard to nail down, as you would have to use two exacting cars, one with start-stop, the other without, in two exacting life-cycles and see how much less the start-stop equiped consumes. It really is down to beliefes at this point, but if you do not spend hours a day in stop-start trafic, i

Um, i know that in the world where the base V6 Mustang gets 300+ HP this might sound strange, but our concepts of "slow" must differ in the extreme, if you can call a relatively light car with 155 HP slow.

The MR2 has a manual, has a tire upgrade, has the engine in the middle, and i've been on roradtrips with it. Also, a better stereo, though i didn't touch the shitty speakers, so lets not get overboard with that. 4/10.

This is a great list and i'm cool with every point BAR #6!

Ridiculous amounts of money is the only thing to swing the owner, if they don't want to sell.

Add a huge sunroof. Because if you're really only good at cruisin', at least be good at basking in the glorious sunshine while cruisin'

oh. yeah, right, lets just say this day took its toll.....

Bayonette's been around for quiet a while now.

Just watched the episode, and seriously, i was very surprised, in a pleasant way, about Clarcksons' verdict. And an F12 catching air on some rutty British backroad? That right there is the reason we watch TGUK.

The best game? When shit gets real.

Shame the WTCC car is FWD in reality, otherwise delightful.

I know it has huge collector value in this condition and with the scooter intact and in place, but that's still way too much. Lovely car, hateful price.

Well, Patrick, you managed to miss the biggest most important factor of this lovely system.

well, most European countries paid dear for the two world wars.....

I have no idea what these worth, but this is a case of not just rare, but also interesting, so this might be NP. Then again, if you want to use it, it's pretty dear to start with, as it's a non-driver as is.

I don't really think an '80s turbo four and an '80s slushbox mix that well - the slusher will never let the engine rev itself over the turbo lag, only in kickdown mode, i guess. So you either don't go at all, or go like stink and eat all the dinosaur juice.

I don't really see them buying a brand that's still in production, all of those seem taken. My guess would be something that's gone tits up already, but someone has the rights. Like Rover. Or Triumph for that matter. Or yeah, maybe SAAB.
