I enjoyed the show as well.  The only real bone I had to pick was that the Spurnrose plot existed largely in its own world, with only the slimmest of connections to Philo’s story, which made it weird that we spent so much of the season with them.  That aside, I really enjoyed Philo and Vignette, as well as the larger

It makes sense that after eleven years of doing so much, he’d decide to take a breather and Doolittle.

I found it easily in the top 10 “new shows” this year.

Totally agree! Season one was fun.

Hey, I was all jazzed for Sherlock Holmes in Faerie, but tempting me with Cthulhu and then “HA HA NO - just a GOT rip-off!” was a crap thing to do. The faerie protagonist ended up a side character.

Agreed.

By any chance, did that field happen to previously have a crop of corn in it?

Wow, that Kevin Costner career-reboot just took a wild turn :/

This news gets two big thumbs up!

via BraveStarr and Cowboy Bebop, of course.

I will 1000% admit that my first reaction was, “Well, clearly it sounds like he has more experience than her, which is why there’s the disparity.” Then I checked out both of them on IMDB, and I was again reminded why I should stop giving anyone the benefit of a doubt. The one movie that *might* justify a payday for

Yea I had no idea the dude was donating to him, makes me wonder about other Disney movies as well or if Disney will oust him with all this info now because they as an overarching company can’t handle that kinda publicity. But until that shit stops I won’t be seeing any marvel movies or buying anymore comics.

Actually the board could vote to force him to liquidate his stock.... A lot of people forget that the board and CEO CAN do things.... they rarely do it because its one of those “long term impact” things.. but if they really wanted to ice Perlmutter, they could do it without blinking an eye. Heck, they could do it

And this is why I’m buying more DC comics than Marvel. Which is a pity, because I like Avengers, Daredevil, the THOR-related stuff, and yes, Captain America. But it the thought of money I spend on Marvel comics ending up in tRump’s pockets just sickens me. And want to plan a heist.

Trust me, if Disney could do anything but pray for Perlmutter to die, they would have.

No, but The Mouse does bend to pressure, while not acknowledging it. If they can carve out other influences from the machine, certainly Perlmutter is not sacred to the brand.

Bingo. Netflix is still an over leveraged story stock with no real profits that depends on keeping the “growth” narrative juiced to support the market valuation. Suddenly culling loads of “shadow” users currently padding the stats would be disastrous for the business. Disney has none of those constraints and is free

I’ve been splitting an account with my sister for years.

Disney+ is creating a model where, to keep flexibility of watching between different devices and locations, it will be easier for people to go with illegal streaming

Except, that’s not exactly Netflix’s stance....
