Started reading Going Clear and I'm almost done with it. Seriously - do yourself a favor and get this book. It starts out weird and then somehow it just gets crazier and crazier. I can't believe that in America we allow these wacko Scientology RPF camps to exist. The book makes them sound like concentration camps. If

I just finished 14. It turned into a different book than I was expecting, but overall I found it pretty damn enjoyable. I was thinking of getting some more books by Cline - anybody have any good suggestion?

BAM! There's your movie plot right there!

They have to animate this right? I mean the cost of colored body paint and tusk prosthetics alone could run into the millions.

I got about half way through the first season. It truly is terrible - even with all the nudity and sex.

They use to do that all the time in the 80s. If I remember right, sometime around the late 90s they started losing money with the re-releases so they stopped. I don't know if there is an audience or not. I would think most people have the movies on dvd, and don't see any reason to pay the inflated theater ticket

I think it also has to do with the fact that the stuff that scared you as a kid..masked killers, vampires, evil old ladies  ..just doesn't get the job done anymore. I can't remember the last time a scary movie, actually "scared me".

My 7-year-old self was very frightened of Gremlins. That scene where the science teacher sticks his hand  under the table and the gremlin crunches on it gave me nightmares for a week.

I remember after watching him in The Rundown and I thought he had a good long career ahead of him making cheesy but enjoyable action movies - but he had a really bad run of movies all the way up to Fast Five. Maybe he needs a better agent.

I'm just glad no one has stolen my idea for "Footprints: the poem: the movie" screenplay I'm working on.

I think it'd be great if he played the part of the little girl the the bear is protecting

There are only two things I remember about 2 Days in the Valley and they were both attached to Charlize Theron.

I always viewed Snatch as a knock off of Lock, Stock, which was a knock off of Pulp Fiction which was a knock off ……ghaaaa!!!( dies as he falls into a deep homage hole)

If you hate poetry you should read a book called Apprentice to the Flower Poet Z  It's a satirical look at people who study poetry in college and go on to make a living as professional poets.

I think my favorite time travel movie is still Timecrimes. Even though I enjoyed the hell out of Looper.

The ones I used where always just something I shit out at the last moment and stuck wheels on. And one of those crappy decals that came with the kit.
