This is just a bizarre post. Are you actually expecting Jezebel posters to come to Chris Brown’s defense? Chris Brown?

I don’t know why I expected better from DaBaby, but I did. This sucks.
One of my good friends took her parents to get their first jabs. Their appointments were at the end of the day, so when she was there she put her name on a wait list and hung around. When they were done with appointments they had some doses left over, so she got one, and is scheduled for her second one next week.
Saw some online commenting (why do I read the comments on news articles...) where some were saying that this was “just more complaining” because she’d had problems dating Pattinson (although as I recall, she never had anything bad to say about him, just his toxic af fanbase), and now abuse with LeBeef. That she…
Just when you thought it was safe to be a successful single black man...
I know why the question “Why didn’t you leave?” is very problematic but I also kind of appreciate hearing it posed to women as intelligent and articulate as FKA Twigs. It’s so validating to me to hear these women I perceive as so much stronger than myself explain exactly what kept them in place. It helps me realize…
I think that most that vote for him don’t like him. A corpse with an R next to it could win in Texas, and would probably outperform Cruz.
And thank God for that!
I hate block parties and actively avoid talking to my neighbors, but if you had a block party with Ted Cruz’s and Rand Paul’s neighbors, I would set up permanent residence wherever that was. I would even take a helping of green jello mold with floaty bits.
So his wife is as selfish and clueless as he is. What a perfect match.
“Ted Cruz’s Neighbors Must Really Hate Him?”
It tracks that the Cruzes have the kind of shitty “friends” who won’t tell them a senator going to Cancun while his constituents freeze to death is a bad idea, but will tattle on them to the New York Times.
We're not supposed to.
If she was all business and emotionless, she would have been branded as a ball busting, robotic man eater. Women can’t win.
It’s the inexperience that puts young people in danger though, and makes easy prey for men like Marilyn Manson, Armie Hammer, and any number of high-profile murder cases wherein the victim is blamed for “their lifestyle”.
As an older man, just about person, especially an older one, asking or wanting to do BDSM things with a much younger person is automatically suspect. My life is pretty vanilla, but it’s important to recognize that age differences are profound power dynamic differences in relationships. Raping someone isn’t a kink.
The smart ones are the worst ones. They’re the best at manipulation.
I think that discounts the naivity that comes with being a teenager/VERY YOUNG adult, and the level of manipulation coming from the older person. At 40 I am horrified by what I “allowed” to happen to me in my 20's, and I wouldn’t have realized this until I watched friends/ read news stories where the outcomes were…
Using self-harm and suicidal gestures to control victims is the part of domestic violence that will never cease to infuriate me. It’s an incredibly effective form of control and has the fringe benefit of adding stigma to people who struggle with self-harm and suicidality but aren’t abusers.
You mean people still listen to Manson after high school? The edgy/goth/angsty/melodramatic/performative self-abuse stage of one’s life shouldn’t really go past the age of 18 or 19, at most.
