The funny thing is that at this point they have no incentive to release anything.  They already have a cult-like group of followers willing to “preorder” every new ship they release concept art for. CRAFTING. I just don’t get it. It’s usually touted as a major feature, but very few games actually give you much freedom to make cool things, or give you any visual feedback for it other than clicking inventory boxes.

I love these. The medium and color is reminiscent of pulp illustrations of the 1950s and 60s. But the content and forms are more animated and simplified, like Disney or Miyazaki. What a great combo.

I just recently discovered this “CrowbCat” dude on youtube, probably through this site. He is a hero. He takes the piss out of the games industry like none other without putting his face up on everything, and I just squeal with joy when he posts a new video.

Yeah the window on the left side of the door is wonky. My problem is more with the proportions on the two dudes in the foreground; Mr Bighead Derpy-arms and Mr Barrelchest Stumpy-neck. Plus we got Six-finger Sally sitting on the desk there. On first glance though, the image isn’t so bad.

I think you’re right. It’s a somewhat sloppy attempt at a fisheye perspective, since presumably it’s meant to mimic a person’s pov. It’s not as bad an offender as the other examples.
