Because touch screens tend to require visual confirmation of what you're pressing - along with some reasonable expectation of accuracy in actually pressing the thing you're trying to press. They work fine in nearly stopped traffic or long clear highways, but trying to press a button at arm's length while being moved

End of an era! I've been seeing/reading these for nearly 10 years myself! I wonder if someone else will take up the torch...

Exactly.

Am I the only one that came here expecting this to have happened *IN* Saudi Arabia? I’m disappointed. This would’ve been a WAY cooler moment had she gone out there and laid some donuts all over the patriarchy, lol.

Pure numbers, eh?  I guess a little something like an average weight of closer to 110-120lbs vs 160+ for 40-60lbs savings is nothing, then...  I wonder how many millions of dollars F1 teams spend trying to shave 40-50lbs off their cars’ overall weight.

I’m 34. This game frustrated the hell outta me at first too, but then I realized something: I’ve spent the vast majority of my life playing games that all mainly worked like games I understood. Fortnite really had a new mechanic that I had just really never gotten any good at with its building dynamics.

I’ve gotta say - it would seem to me like this kind of car would lend itself to a manual transmission. When you start talking about serious turbo lag, you want to be able to drop out the clutch and get the revs up a bit to get the turbos spooling a little before rubbing the clutch a bit as you get going out of

My buddy had a damned good run with one of those last night... Jetpacks can make this game entertaining as hell to watch.

Why is this game so amazing and wonderful to us older (over 30) types, and younger folks are so turned off once they realize “there’s nothing else to do”?

Yeah I already have been working through PC gaming for the most part, so the fact that everything seems to be going towards “Play Anywhere” titles is awesome for me. I don’t have to buy an XB1 - I can continue to use my home workstation + gaming GPU as a MS/Steam gaming machine, and then a PS4 for Sony/console games.

Hey!! Look out on LinkedIn, I’ve been meaning to get back in touch with you - go Fieros! I miss the hell out of mine...

To be honest, that’s fairly endemic to any rear-biased MR-platform vehicle. Older Ferraris were known for the exact same behavior. If anything they’re a little easier to control though, as they have a bunch more power to quickly “fix” problems. In the Fiero, you better be in the right gear, or you’re toast.

It seems like they also need a bigger map, but then with more players. I feel like the current map is actually too small... you can sail across the whole thing relatively quickly, especially when you’re trying to evade a marauding pirate galleon. At full sail in a galleon, my crew and I have accidentally sailed right

Fortunately, it’s free with MS Game Pass.

I’m the one who did it. I remember very well how fast I was going, it was fast enough that the dash was brought forward 6-8" or so and the body was twisted about 5° around, and the rear end came about a foot “up” vs the passenger cabin. The front wheel was pinned against the front firewall and the doors were jammed

I honestly don’t know a ton about Toyota motors. I was going off the top of my head about some cool builds that have been done with Fieros. It’s very possible they used the 3S motors and I remembered wrong. The point is that a modern, lighter, higher-output motor would make a lot more sense here.

I am getting the point. “Then you don’t have a Fiero” is exactly what I’m going for. In my mind it’s “then you’re not ruining a Fiero”.

If it was done 7 years ago then there’s way less reason to buy the car. Battery packs have limited lives. This is just ripe for a major cost explosion on top of being a less desirable car. Honestly if it wasn’t possible to do with decent performance back then, then it shouldn’t have been done at all. Just because you

It’s a trap!
