I would star this more times if I could.

I stuffed my first Fiero headfirst into a tree at 50mph (2nd month driving 🙄 - lift-throttle oversteer is a thing in that car...) - I can personally attest to that car being incredibly safe. I walked away sore but otherwise uninjured.
They could have done the same with an 80's Civic and it would’ve made a lot more sense. Taking a perfectly good (and valuable) 88GT and putting a low powered electric motor in it just sucks. If they’re GONNA convert it, at least get a serious EV motor and battery pack.
Or, you know, they could just use GPS.
How about the most glaring question that no one is asking...
Yo mean like this? There was definitely a fastback...
This is actually something that Porsche 928 owners do to gain aftermarket support and cheaper repair costs (durability isn’t really a factor as the stock trans is very stout). A company makes a pretty straightforward conversion kit for not too much money. I wonder if that company could be convinced to make a kit for…
This kind of thing makes me wonder why Nintendo doesn’t just do like they’ve done with the iOS/Android market and realize that hardware-independence is the way to go... and then release games like this on Steam/PS4/XB1. What kind of incredible increase in software sales would they get if they started making…
Pretty sure Dallas fans shot a man for wearing the wrong colors, so I’m pretty sure that one wins...
Different models, eras. My dad restored and sold them. The late model cars are, in my estimation, by far the more worth buying. More reliable, faster, better looking. Since getting S4's we’ve only had two the family. Good luck finding a manual under $20k now though...
Ugh... kinja’d. Deleting to place this one in the right place...
Really? Have you owned any? My family has had 5-6, and I can confidently say these are relatively reliable, decent cars as long as you know where to buy parts and you drive it often. The worst issues come from the car sitting and from lack of scheduled maintenance.
Gotta say, hat tip to you for just keeping a good perspective about this all at the end of the day. Certainly a shitty situation but it’s rare to someone say “wow, that was shitty, but I learned something valuable!”
oh... dammit, meant this link:
This is the sim you really want... Based on back-in-the-day’s Falcon 4.0 (which featured full dynamic theatres), it kicks ass.
Just for the sake of discussion this is a super interesting look at both sides of the larger global system and our place in it (contains worthy arguments from both sides):
Also bringing up the other poster’s point about the 1918 flu, WW1 killed 30-40M... and the 1918 population was 1.8B, so the overall worldwide deaths was about 5% of all folks.
“Early this morning, India launched its very first reusable space shuttle. These remarkable photos illustrate just how majestic the teensy shuttle looked as it took off.”
Launched it’s very first SCALE MODEL OF its first reusable space shuttle.
Post about fake photo is itself fake. So meta.
Meh, Tyler’s gone. It’s clear already what’s going on with this site...
