@temptress.in.man.pants: this actually made me jump up and down squeeling haha
@WickedLittleHigh: You are lucky to have such a supportive boyfriend. I have a chronic illness, and although at this point in my life Im doing very well, I understand the hurt from suffering from something not necessarily visible to others. It is very frustrating when most people I inform about my condition just…
@girlinthegarden: absolutely there with you
@BringerofthePain: i always feel that way when i cut my hair short!

haha just tried to text "jezebel" and my T9 came up with "Lewd?"
@Taegre: I love it too! Best law show hands down. And Kalinda is the best!
@Holita: what an asshole. Im so sorry that your husband is so inconsiderate and rude. You deserve someone who appreciates you fully, loves how youve aged because it shows how dedicated youve lived youre life, is grateful for what you do...but if he is so superficial, if he doesn't meet you halfway in your roles as…
@weetziebat: just curious...more wholesome? What does that mean?
So I was away for a year from the place where Im living now, and now Im back to finish up school. Problem is, I only have a few friends here, and am only really close to one. I want to have a good group of friends to do things with, but seriously how do you make friends? I feel so awkward going places by myself...and…

@BonnieTheSpike: LOVE
@Brigit: That's great.

I think that's most people here are saying-there is so much out there about educating/warning women about rape, and comparably very little focussed on educating men. It puts the…
Why do people continually try to use biology to prove gendered difference? Answer: To reinforce gender expectations and norms. There is no way to study sex outside of cultural influence, no possibility of ever discovering what is "purely" inherent. And if you think of it, no real beneficial reason to do so.
@Norton: Although not everyone has the same experience, the transpeople I have interviewed and discussed this with DID say, along with a feeling usually from childhood that they were meant to be the other sex, that they experienced wanting to behave as the gender that they were not assigned as. For instance, one…
@cassiebearRAWR: using it as a tool for such prejudice is incredibly hypocritical seeing as ALL people in patriarchal societies buy into the ideas of femaleness and femininity (as well as maleness and masculinity) at least to some extent in order to live and function within their society, and since gendered concepts…
@infundibulum: but dont forget that nonhuman animals also have social structures that influence their behavior, which concludes that socially constructed ideas/behaviors/etc do not just exist in human societies.
@Lida Rose: try not to make the same mistake twice
