Yeah, the headline is to not great. But “crappy luck” can also be a culprit here.

Stuffed animal idea is a good idea.

Walk outside naked: I interpreted “getting caught” as someone sees you, not getting arrested.

yes.  Yes it is.

I think that you are underestimating the cost of state school.  Few people pay full price at private colleges.

A business?  Any business?  So, would a hotdog cart qualify?  Graduate from college, and immediately get a hotdog cart, and employ high school kids to run it, you really just want it to break even.  Any fucking business?  So, a strip club?

Yep. You can’t copyright a title, which is why there are multiple songs called “Under Pressure,” and multiple movies with the same name. There are only so many words that can go around. But I wonder what would happen if you wrote a new song called “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

wait, really?

A school counselor called a college to ask why a student was invited to a meeting for low income students?  Is that really ok?

Why did he not approve of your choice of college?

Did people really encourage others to do that? I read an article in the Washington Post saying that it is foolish to think that people would declare bankruptcy to avoid student loans. Frankly, I think it is foolish to think that people would NOT do that. The article says few people declared bankruptcy immediately upon

In California, many junior colleges have arrangements in place to grant automatic acceptance to a UC school, perhaps any UC of the student’s choice. Many people get rejected from UCLA or UC Berkeley, go to a junior college, and then transfer to the schools they were rejected from.

Few people pay full price for college. The super rich do. Most everyone else gets loans and grants. Low income people very often get full rides. Loans can be a trap though, I know people who are in pretty hopeless situations regarding their student loans. It will be a campaign issue in the 2020 Presidential election.

Of course he shouldn’t.  But isn’t it true?

I would love it if Jeremy Lin had said during this call:  “Hi, this is Jeremy Lin, my question is, I know we play different positions, but do you seriously think you bring more to the table than I do?”

Yeah, I wrote that “a lot of Americans,” might like this. Not everyone, perhaps even a minority of Americans. A lot of people easily get dates, and they would probably reject this idea. But a lot of people really struggle.

I wonder if it is possible that he was aware he shouldn’t be writing that book, but knew that it would sell like gangbusters.  Seriously, if you’re a publisher, and at that time you were presented by two very similar books, one by a 21 year old, and one by a 51 year old, which one are you going to publish?

I think that arranged marriages in the US are pretty much “parent guided courtship,” where the parents or matchmaker find potential partners and encourage the young people to get to know each other. It isn’t: “Here is your wife, and you are going to marry her tomorrow, and that’s final!”

If Piazza started the previous Saturday night, you gotta expect him not to start the next day, Sunday afternoon, right?

Oh, you know it? Hahahaha.
