My gamertag is gender neutral. But with that GT and a male character, I don’t really get randos. I could understand one friend invite being a statistical anomaly, but I had several. Maybe it’s unrelated, but it felt creepy.

This! I loaded up a female Titan in Destiny and had to go AFK once I hit the Tower. I wasn’t wearing a helmet in social spaces. I was level 3, I think. Came back fifteen minutes later and I had several friend requests. My male characters? Never once.

People are idiots and I, too, avoid all mic using unless it is with close friends. I usually mute anyone who is a stranger, as well.

I’m not having any more problems with Edge than usual Kinja fubar. Are you having said issues?

When 9/10s of the room are using it simply because everyone else is using it, it’s a tad obnoxious. Then you get a skilled player using it and they’re taking you (and me) out, too.
