You're one of those people who use literal figuratively, huh?

One thing to say about the 'standards.' We almost got Encrypted Media Extensions, a type of DRM, added to HTML5, if the W3C had its way.

Samsung may be slaughtered in five years, but it'll have nothing to do with CyanogenMod. It'll be Tizen, Samsung's proprietary O.S. that they'll be using to try and squish Android out of the market. I predict it'll flop because Samsung is only relevant thanks to their Android phones. Why would I, an end user, switch

Ugh, thanks, my entire day when down that rabbit hole....

Fact:

That sounds awesome, not worrying. Can you ever have too many facts?

Well, it is a private corporation who can do whatever they want with search. You could always use Bing, Ask, or even HotBot, for your search queries. If Google's quality starts to slide a competitor will pick up the slack and benefit from the changes.

This a million times over. If a computer sees it as off-whitish blue and goldish, then THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THE COLOR IS. COMPUTERS DO NOT HAVE A CORRECTION BIAS. That's how you can prove to people that the colored squares in the brainteaser above is actually the same color.

Should, I should get a Mega account, then? If it's pissing off Lehay and the MPAA, I'm down!

Every time I start to have misgivings about the FCC regulating the internet, all I have to do is read a comment like yours that makes me say, "YUP, I must have made the right choice."

It isn't a secret if you tell someone. ;)

You Oughta Look Out.

I'm pro-porn, pro-privacy, and understand your statement. I'm also against revenge porn.

No, it's harder to obtain coke, put it in his car, get him pulled over, and then get him arrested. Well, for some people... maybe you have a dealer on speed dial.

You're short-sighted on the issue. Take a look at how hard websites like YouTube take down legit content because they're forced to do so by DMCA requests that are sent out by robots, in error. Sometimes it takes weeks or months to get that content hosted again and time is money.

This law will be abused. I don't disagree with having the law, but - as you mentioned with the DMCA - people will abuse it. I can even see Hollywood using screenshots of movies that have celebrities naked, to take down websites such as Mr. Skin. And it'll be a legal hurdle to get those sites back up and running, even

That's my whole problem with the potentials of 'immortality.' Or as close to it as a head transplant can make it.

Well, perhaps Activision is the only publisher with the clout to get Metallica on board...? I know that seems unlikely, but still something to think about.

How does having more choice in 'musical video gaming' ruin it for everybody, all over again? o.O
