Joel, just a question. I've posted this before but why wouldn't Gawker Media want to go in this direction than back to a system that no one really liked? Because you already have the code so you can just plug it back in?

As an older video game player (both age and experience) I'm so over local multiplayer.

I have always found those youtube videos of people throwing knives as the start of a match and killing someone to be hilarious. Because of how difficult it is and how impossible it would really be.

I have no problem with COD AW to be a knock-off Titanfall clone. I'll probably play AW, as well. But for the developers to state it isn't a clone? That they were in development before Titanfall? That's so horrendously stupid and offensive I almost want to tweet about it.

Indeed, many of the better players are using the SMGs up close simply to beat the carbine. I hate those fuckers, too.

Ya'know, in a game that has mechanized behemoths that fall from the sky, smart pistols that can curve bullets, backpacks that allow double jumps, and not to mention interstellar space travel, I think that civilization could somehow have made an assault rifle that has figured out a way to stop bullets from tumbling…

Oh gawd, not another smart pistol user. That fuckin' thing needs a nerf already. I'm not opposed to the concept but when everyone is using one freakin' weapon it means it got overpowered.

And I don't care that it is the first game. I want to live in these spaces.

That's one reason why I love Mirror's Edge. The clean lines, the lack of typical dystopia trash and grime.

Yeah but memes, regular gifs, and kitty pictures usually rank higher and get more stars than insightful posts.

I tell parents they'll regret having children until the child grows up and gets their head out of their ass. I get true delight from being an asshole about that specifically because they're usually "you need kids!"

Have they fixed Big Picture mode? Just about every time I'm in Dark Souls 2 and browsing the internet while in BP mode Steam has a heart attack and FC's Dark Souls when it closes. Aggravating.

You fail to understand the definition of opinions. And such a fundamental flaw of basic understanding renders any argument you can make moot.

I'm a graphics whore. I find quality of a game to be important. Sure, some games such as indies can get away with 16bit quality in an HD world but I expect my Triple A titles to live up to their promises.
